Yummy Cupackes!

  Good morning, it is time for another fun and sweet Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC60....these cupcakes are so cute and look so yummy, don't ya think?  I used papers from Bella Blvd and My Mind's Eye, if you haven't heard Rachel is closing the store, so everything is 45% OFF..wow, head on over and grab some new stamping supplies!  The trim is by Webster's Pages, and the flower stamp is from the Verve set Thankful Blossom.  I added Stickles and Pearls to the flower.  I also used the Clean & Simple Sketch, FTL91 for today's card and it is my submission to the CAS Summer DT Call, SUM2010CAS1.  I hope you will play along with us this week, be sure to check out the other DT's creations.

Good morning, it is time for another Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC59.  Remember everything is the Hope Stamps Eternal Store is 45% off, head over to get some great deals!  Aren't these the cutest sweet treats?  I used OCC sketch, OCCSC15 luv the square sketch.  I also have a "data dig" to share, my "data digs" are things I have discovered whether it is my idea or another designer.  It is a must to always give credit to the creator's direct link.  I want to share the easiest way to make the ribbon scrunchy, it is from Ashley's blog, you can view the video here.   For my card I stamped the stems and then ran the EK Success Chipboard flowers through the Cuttlebug with the swiss dots embossing folder, you can see embossing folders here in the HSE store.  I added a little stitching and a piece of Bittersweet Basicgrey designer paper down the side.  Have a wonderful day...enjoy!

Good morning, this is my creation for today's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC57.  The cupcakes are so cute, there is lots of inspiration to get you going.  I used the Clean & Simple Sketch, FTL88.  Don't forget that Hope Stamps Eternal Store is going out of business and all items are 35% off, head over and check it out!  This pretty paper is Basicgrey Green At Heart.  I used a swirly Cuttlebug Embossing Folder for the background, very similar to the cupcake.  The stamp set is a big favorite of mine, it is from KaiserCraft.  I stamped the flower, curled the edges, and added Stickles, I luv shimmer and bling.  I finished the ribbon tied bow with a button brad.  I hope your day is great and that you make time to create and play along with us.  Enjoy!

NEW-Data Dig

Good morning, I want to share with you today some helpful tips that I will call my "data dig" or information find.  They may or may not be my ideas but I will link you to the finder or creator.  I will label any posts that have information of this type "data dig" so that you can find it easy  These today are mine, the top set of cards are from the sketch over at Clean & Simple, FTL84 about two weeks ago.  I luvd the sketch and made this card here for the challenge.  I really had fun with it and it was super simple.  Now I am not one to make duplicates of cards very often; but when you stumble upon a good thing that works, why not use it again?  I hope you don't think this is lame.  We are all super busy and lately, I have needed more cards than normal because of my dh's surgery.  The group of cards you see here are for the ladies in my prayer group who have supported us during this time.  I luv the different patterns, texture, and colors, don't you?  I used the fabulous little sets from Verve called Celebration of Thanks, Thankful Accents, and Thankful Hearts.
The second "data dig" is the new way SU is packaging there stamps; now I really like the plastic dvd style case, but boy is there a lot of wasted space.  The wasted space is the first thing I noticed and shared with my demo and stampin buddies.  Being a tad bit on the organized side I wanted to use the space.  I have been changing my wood mounted stamps to unmounted, using EZ Mount(it is on sale).  I have gotten 5 extra sets in this case for a total of six sets.  I wrote the names and what the stamps say on the inside for reference.  I hope you have a wonderful day and can use my "data dig" in the future.  Also, I will be adding more creations to my Etsy site tonight.  Enjoy!

Happy Easter to you, I hope that you will take time to reflect the true meaning of today.  If you haven't you can read the death and resurrection story here in Luke 23 and Luke 24.
I have for you today the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC53, the cupcakes for today's inspiration reminds me of a bright sunshiny day!  I used the perfect designer paper from Making Memories called Flutter.
Speaking of designer paper, now is the time to get your Imaginisce and Bella Blvd designer paper it is 15% off and there are some great designs, check them out!

I used two different stamps to make the image shown, the sunshine sentiment is from Imaginisce and the KaiserCraft flowers from the set Peachy Keen.   I stamped the flowers and cut them out, adding stickles and a silver bead.  I adhered them with pop dots to give more depth.  I also used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches #49, last week I was chosen in the top 3...wow...how exciting is that?  I know I was thrilled!  I hope that you can join us for this weeks CIC.  Have a fabulous Easter, enjoy!

Wow, it is a gorgeous day here in VA, it is about 80 degrees and the sun is shinning brightly......it is definitely something to smile about!  I am sharing a super simple CAS card today.  The colors and texture are from the Play Date Cafe, PDCC23 and for the challenge over at Crafting in Croatia, to use this sketch shown.  I used an embossing folder sponged with navy ink, added ribbon, border punched bottom, and the smile sentiment from Verve.

Sweetly Thinking Of You

Good morning, these are the cutest displayed cupcakes, I was drawn to the fun, big flower.  This is for today's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC52.  There is so much about these cupcakes to get your inspiration flowing, I hope you play along with us!  My card recipe is using the darling paper from Basicgrey and it is called Green At Heart.  It is so pretty, the colors are luscious.  I used two different punches, I really like the look of the layered borders.  The purple layer is using a EK Success border punch and the orange layer is using the Fiskars border punch.  I used the ProvoCraft Argyle embossing folder on the top portion of my card.  I finished my card with ribbon tied with a button and the cute butterflies.  I added Stickles to the butterflies for a little glimmer.  I used the sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches #59 and the glitter challenge at Stampin Royalty, SR12.  I hope you will play along with us this week, it is always fun to be inspired by yummy cupcakes.  Enjoy!

Sweet Butterfly Thank You

 Good morning, I am bringing to you another fun and super springy cupcake to inspire you for this weeks Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC51.  Aren't these butterflies so pretty?  I had to use the Bella Blvd designer paper, oh my I luv this paper.  It is soooo gorgeous, I am a huge fan of greens and browns.  I used the Fiskars Punch and the EK Success Punch for the borders, I added a tab sentiment, punched butterflies, and the SU Bigz Butterfly Die for the main panel.  I adorned the butterfly with Zva Creative pearls and no ribbon, can you believe it?  I usually do not make a card without ribbon...hehehe.  I also used the fabulous sketch from the Clean & Simple Blog, FTL83 and spotlighted today's FS163 Cathy aka Mutnik, I chose her card here to case.

Two New Challenges

Good evening, hubby is resting so I have been able to get in some stamping time.  I have so much to share with you tonight.  I have learned of two more challenges today, I really luv finding new challenges.  there is a list down the side of my blog if you are looking for a new one.  The first challenge is from over at SCS the dear Anne Ryan has started a challenge to showcase a stamper each week.  The Featured Stamper every Sunday is one of my favorite challenges so this challenge is fabulous too!  There are so many wonderful stamping gals in the stamping arena it is wonderful to bring attention to as many as we can.  You can learn more about the Queen For The Day, QFTD02 challenge and play along.  This weeks queen is the dear Marilyn Preston, you can see the card I cased here.

One Love-Hope Stamps Eternal-CIC50

Good morning, I had a long day of shopping and eating yesterday.  We ate at Olive Garden, one of my favorite places to eat.  I hope you had a wonderful day, I have for you today this adorable Saint Patty's Day cupcake for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC50.  I adore green so I luvd making today's card.  I used lots of great stuff from Hope Stamps Eternal, you got to check out the fabulous goodie in the store.  I used the beautiful Basicgrey Designer paper called Origins.

I used the leaf stamp from KaiserCraft it is called Peachy Keen, I adore this set of stamps.  They even come in a cute little plastic zipper case. I topped it all of with a Basicgrey Bloomer Felt Flower.  I tied it off with ribbon and a sweet little "love" tag.  I will be giving this to my dh, his favorite color is also green.  This is also for the Clean & Simple Sketch, FTL82 and for Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge Act21.
