THANKS

Good evening, thanks to all who have been sending well wishes to my dh, to read about that go here.
Also, for the continued support, kindness, visits, and sweet comments I am offering a blog give away, you can enter that here.
I created this card for several challenges, another new one that I discovered.  It is called The Shabby Tea Room and you can read all about the stitching/spring challenge at Debbie's blog.  I also used Karen's sketch, SSSC61 and the colors from Stacey's color challenge, ACT22.  I was also chosen one of the Top 5 from last weeks Curtain Call.  I have the award here to make it simple.  This is also my submission for today's CAS59, to be inspired by New York.  I have a list of places I want to visit, NY is on that list.  I was inspired by so much, the flowers in Central Park, the bright fun funky colors, and all of the design in my card.  NY and design go hand and hand.  I used Verve stamp sets Let It Shine and Celebration Of Thanks,
be sure to head over to the Verve Blog, the project parade has started and the theme is "Fun With Flowers".  I hope you can play along with us; what a fantastic theme, don't ya think?  I stamped the flowers, colored with copics, and popped the up. A simple thanks sentiment, scalloped border punch, and a row of stitches finishes my card.   Also, I wanted to share a Kreative blog award given to me by the sweet Rosie.  Please take time to visit her, she is super talented!  Enjoy.

Sweet Butterfly Thank You

Good morning, I am bringing to you another fun and super springy cupcake to inspire you for this weeks Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC51 Aren't these butterflies so pretty?  I had to use the Bella Blvd designer paper, oh my I luv this paper.  It is soooo gorgeous, I am a huge fan of greens and browns.  I used the Fiskars Punch and the EK Success Punch for the borders, I added a tab sentiment, punched butterflies, and the SU Bigz Butterfly Die for the main panel.  I adorned the butterfly with Zva Creative pearls and no ribbon, can you believe it?  I usually do not make a card without ribbon...hehehe.  I also used the fabulous sketch from the Clean & Simple Blog, FTL83 and spotlighted today's FS163 Cathy aka Mutnik, I chose her card here to case.

Thanks For Caring

Hello, and a happy weekend to you, I created this for today's IC224.  I chose the first sushi cake as my inspiration.  This is for the Card Patterns Sketch, 55 and for The Color Throwdown Color Challenge, CTD84.  I used PTI Blooming Baby Bits image with a verve sentiment, "thanks for caring" from the set Thankful Hearts.
I have not been around this week, my dh had to have open heart surgery, he is fine.  He had to have a valve repair because of a birth defect.  It has been a tiring and stressful week but he has come through the surgery with ease.  I will be making lots of thank you cards in the coming days, lots of friends, family, and the hospital staff have been by our side.  We have had lots of support and many many prayers going up for us.  I will be able to be home with him for several weeks so I hope to get some stamping done during my down times.  I will have a blog giveaway Monday, be sure to check back!  Enjoy.

Hello Sunshine

Wow, it is Friday and let me tell you, I am so ready for the weekend.  I want to share Amber's Viva la Verve sketch with an inspiration of kitchens, I chose the vibrant retro kitchen shown.  I used one of my all time favorite Verve sets, I never grow wearing of Verve stamps....they really are my favorites!  You know there will be new Verve release tomorrow, you can check it out here at the Verve Store.
I used black flower soft in the center of the flower, these flowers are perfect for fuzzy flower soft.  I added stitching with a ribbon bow tied with a button and linen thread.
This is also for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenges, FTTC56 to use scallops.  I used the scallop punch and the flower itself looks as if to have scalloped petals.  I hope you have a wonderful Friday and have great plans for the weekend.  I meet with a group of stampers Saturday morning, I am always excited to get together and share ideas....enjoy!
