Circle Of Love

I created this with a couple of the new sets released from Verve, they are Be Mine and Heart's Desire. The bigger puffy heart is stamped and cut out from the set called Hundred Hearts. I adore circle cards, I think they have so much to say just for being circle in shape...lol. I also really luv red and yellow together. If you have not tried a circle card or any shaped card, I encourage you do try one....have fun! I do hope your week as been a good one and that you are getting in as much creating time as you want. I myself have not this week, but plan on taking some in this weekend. Have a wonderful day and enjoy!

Sprinkle Kindness

Good evening, I could not resist today's CC254, to use soft suede, ruby red, and bashful blue...I adore these colors together. It is so workin for me today. I wanted to use flowers and reached for one of my all time favorite Verve sets Petal & Stems. This set is a must have, it has endless uses; it is so cute! I also used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC52. This is a great sketch, I like it because I can use different dp's and textures. I added a gemstone to the centers and popped the flowers up. I hope you have a wonderful evening, tomorrow is hump day and count down day number three to the weekend.....enjoy!

Good mojo Monday morning peeps, I really luv today's sketch, Mary has brought us today's sketch.......great job Mary! You got check out the other mojo makers creation over at the Mojo Monday Blog, Mojo122. I rounded the corners on mine, since I do not have ovals nesties. I used a SU embossing folder and sponged it with not quite navy ink for the background. I added a layer of polka dotted dp and stitching. I tied the ribbon in a bow-tie style and added a gem. The flower is from the Verve set Love's Flower, I decided to paper piece the flower; I used two different dp's. I stuck in a few more leaves and the center is a gemstone eyelet. I wanted to play along with the Frosted Designs Challenge to use eyelets. This is also my submission to this weeks Scripture Challenge. The word this week is temptation, I used the scripture Luke 22:40. "Pray that you may not enter into temptation." I hope you have a great day and if there is something that you are tempted by, I encourage you to pray and get a friend to pray with you....enjoy your Monday!

My Love For You

Good morning. I must say this every weekend, but where do they go? Can you believe that today is Jan. 17, this month is more than half over. You know we will be making vacation plans soon, that is fun. Speaking of vacation, check out these cupcakes, they are beach ready...lol. These are so fun, today's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge is keyword CIC42. I used the fun paper pack from Basicgrey called Sugar Rush and the flower is Basicgrey and it is called Bloomers, isn't that a fun name? The sentiment is from Verve the set is called Hundred Hearts. The LOVE tag is Basicgrey stamp Valentines Day, it is so darling. The row of tiny hearts under the sentiment are from this same set and it is only a $1.99 for five stamps, so worth it! I added a sequin to the little tag and then added a Crystal by Zva Creative to the center. I also used Stamps and Smiles Sketch, SASSC48. I hope you can make time to play with us, be sure to check out the other Hope Stamps Eternal Sweeties creations.

I created this for several challenges, the CCEE Stampers, CCEE1002 sketch. It is also for the Embellish Challenge to use purple, kraft, and chocolate and to use stripes. I added stripes with a marker to the right side of the sentiment. I am not sure if I like that or not, but I trying to make it work...lol. I also added stripes to the kraft piece of card stock with my scor pal. Finally, it is for the Scripture Challenge over at Patter Cross Blog, SCRC210. the first word is Hope. The scripture is a Verve stamp Psalm 31:24. I used the crystal flourish to accent the scripture panel, it came from Hope Stamps Eternal. I hope that you have a wonderful evening, enjoy!

I colored with copics and layered the flower. I adore SU Dazzling diamonds on this flower, it is so yummy. I did a little sponging and layered the main panel sentiment. I used Mercy's Sketch, MTSC56. I also used the colors from Amber's release week color challenge, VSJAN10C to use black, gray, and turquoise. I also used this inspiration piece here from IC215. This is also for the Dirty Dozen Challenges to use floral, flirty, and feminine, CT0110 and the color challenge DDCC0110. I hope you have a fabulous day, enjoy your weekend and make time for family!

I sure hope you have enjoyed the sneak peeks and are ready to party tonight. The Verve release starts at 9:00 PM EST in the SCS forum, see ya there!

Winter Wishes

Good morning, I created this for this weeks Play Date Cafe Color Challenge, PDCC12. They asked me to join the DT as a guest designer this month. I happily said Yes! These gals turn out some outstanding creations, be sure to check them out and play along.
These colors are perfect for an icy look, it has been very cold this winter so a chipboard snowflake is perfect for these colors. This is also my creation for Michelle's Verve release week challenge to use chipboard. The keyword for her chipboard challenge is VSJAN10. I added Martha Stewart Glitter to the snowflake. I used different textures with the embossing, different dp's, and the scallops. I hope you can play along with both challenges. Have a wonderful day and try to stay warm...enjoy!

The little monkey is thinking about how crazy he is about you. I hope you pick yours up Friday night after the Verve release party. I will share all the deets a little later. He wants you to take him home! Enjoy.

Thinking Of You

I am super excited about this card for a couple of reasons, one Betty asked me to give a sample card for today's CC253 over at SCS. The colors are rich razzleberry, pretty in pink, chocolate chip. Betty throughs in a dessert option every week and this week it is to us e houndstooth on your creation. I am thrilled to help her out, I hope you can make time to play along. Secondly, it is a sneak peek of the Verve stamps to come this Friday, you don't want to miss that either......the stamps are lovely! I luv this style of layout, you can us lots of different patterns and textures, I am all over that. I colored the flower and added SU dazzling diamonds to it. It is cut and layered several times. I sponged the houndstooth with pretty in pink ink and of course I had to add a little stitching. I hope you like my creation, most of all I hope you have a wonderful day, enjoy!

I created this round card for one of the Verve Release Week Challenges to create a shaped card. Tosh has challenged us to get in shape, now we could all use that. I like being round....hehehe...not really but I do adore the round cards. You can see this and all of the challenges here. Be sure to enter the keyword VSJAN10E. We are getting ready for the Verve Release Party that is this Friday, I hope to see ya there! This is also for today's CAS49 to cut it out. I cut out the hearts.....enjoy your evening!

Lots of Hearts

Good morning, this is today's Mojo121. I turned the sketch to fit this gorgeous Verve stamp from the set Hearts On Fire. I adore all the swirl in this stamp, I have even used just the swirl part to accent lots of other sentiments or images. I paper pieced the heart and added diamond bling to the swirl. I added zig zag stitching around the frame of the card. I used my Martha Stewart heart border punch for the side with black checkered ribbon. I also added a hair pin with jewels to the ribbon, I am not sure how well it show in the photo. I have had questions about the hair pins. I make these using items found in the jewelry department at Micheal's. I like to make my own because I like them to have a finished look so I add the bullet style earring back to the bottoms. I can be a perfectionist sometimes...lol. I hope you make time to play along and don't forget this is release week at Verve and we have brought to you challenges in the Verve forum over at SCS. I also made this for submission at Embellish, to use red, pink, black, and hearts. Enjoy playing the Verve challenges this week!

All of the Memory Box stamps are on sale, get yours today! I used the white Art Blanche chipboard flowers and covered them with the yummy Basicgrey Nook & Pantry dp. I added a button with a Zva Corduroy Brad. The heart designer paper is by My Mind's Eye, Be Loved; I adore this paper pack. If you have not gotten yours yet you should, it is perfect for Valentines creations. You can get it here for only $8.99....wow! I added Zva Pearls down the side of the border punch. I used this block rug to inspire me. I also used the challenge from Everything But The Kitchen Sink, EBTKS6; to use wrapping paper. True Friends

I created this for today's CC252, to use bermuda bay, certainly celery, and hunter. You can also use pink but it could not be card stock. This is also for Monday's CAS48, to make a Valentine creation. I chose to use pink ink for sponging, the pink pom pom ribbon, and the pink glittered heart. The sentiment is from the Verve set Hundred Hearts. The glitter heart is chipboard, I added the button and twine. I adore this sentiment, true friends are a blessing. I hope you have a wonderful week. I may not be around much this week, I am gearing up for the Verve release......coming soon! Enjoy.

Good morning, this is the last day of my Christmas break, it is back to work for me tomorrow. You know what that means less stamping, creating, and blogging...I will miss visiting your blogs. I will still do all three of these things with every little minute that I have free.
I have created for you today a more pastel card, I thought the little cupcake was sooooo cute. What better way to be inspired but than with cupcakes...yummy...remember the Hope Stamps Eternal Design Team Call...go check it out! I used some sweet designer papers from Basicgrey. The yellow one is from the Nook and Pantry collection and the other one is the Basicgrey new paper pack called Sugar Rush, I luv this pack so fun and cheery. I used two different stamps to make a bouquet of flowers, the first one is called Blossoms by Imaginisce and the other is called Thank You. I colored the flowers with copics and then added a sweet little Zva Crystal to the centers, they are so sparkly and pretty. I used a notebook punch for the one panel and a corner rounder for the tab with the sentiment grateful on it. I added distressing and ribbon tied with a button and twine. I used the Stamps and Smiles Sketch, SASSC46.
Be sure to check out the other sweeties creations.
