good morning, I am sharing my take on this weeks sunday stamps challenge.....a gorgeous color combo. I have used the stunning flower from the altenew stamp set called beautiful day. I used distress inks and some blending with water and then outlined it with a white gel pen, some stickles in the center for a little shine. The background was a lot of ink splatter and distressing, super fun to create! I have used the super sweet prayers and die set, this is an all time favorite set. My favorite type of cards to send are inspirational and praying for you. The sweet hearts are in this set too, I created a falling hearts background and then covered each one with a little stickles...super sweet! I also luv, luv, luv the fun foam....I cut the prayers die out using it as well and then adhered it to the prayers inked sentiment to give it a popped up look....awesome effect! mojo monday/mojo432-unfailing love

good morning peeps, what a fun sketch we have this week to work with over at the mojo monday blog...I adore the banners and of corse I gave them a little titl....teehehehe. I am sooo luvin using tim holtz distress inks for watercolor backgrounds, I smooshed some ink around for the background and then used my misit to get a dark even coverage of the scripture sentiment. The Verve stamp set I used is good work, one of my favorite sets! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

Have you picked up your card kit from simon says stamp? This is a fabulous month to give the card kit a try....it is gorgeous! I had a request for a language translator, I have added it to the right under my photo...thanks for asking and for following my blog......I luv my followers!

I am so luvin the new set from concord & 9th, the gorgeous sophisticated script can be used to create any sentiment you want....it is totally awesomesauce! I used several tim holtz distress inks to create the pinkish/red background, cutting out the heart shape with the concord & 9th layers of love heart die cut. The sweet polka dotted paper is from mft, it is called painted prints. I used black accents because this is prolly going to my hubs for valentines day. Of course I luv using black accents anytime....*grin*. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

I have used the adorable set from lawn fawn called at the dog park, super cute pup! I have used the dog park lawn cuts dies to get a perfect cut, so cute! I have used tim holtz distress blue inks to achieve the watercolor background. I then used mister huey's calico white to spritz onto the designer paper. I cannot wait to see what you create. mojo monday/mojo431-you make very happy

I adore these colors from color q....wow...right up my color alley...lol. This weeks mojo sketch is a fun one too, of course I turned it and made a taller card. I used paint for the background...I luv the look! I then added some other patterned papers to match the color challenge. The gorgeous heart is the Verve jotted heart die, one of my all time favorites! The sweet sentiment is from the verve set wonderful marvelous! Some white ink splatter...luv, some enamel dots, silver washi tape, and white and silver twine bring it all together. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine, kindness!

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, we have a fun one for you this week; we are challenging you to a ombre creation. The design team is using goodies from hero arts, what an amazing company!

ok, I have a confession...this is my first ombre anything...lol...whew...now we can move forward...lol. I have used an ombre ink pad from hero arts called light to dark peach. I wasn't real sure how to use the ink pad, so I pressed the card stock onto it and continued down to the lighter color. Really simple with a sweet effect, I then stamped the falling hearts with white ink and then went over them with liquid pearls....luv how they turned out! The "love" was die cut and then adhered onto the card. I also added a few pretty pink posh sequins for some extra luv! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

mojo monday/mojo430-birthday blessings

happy monday and welcome to my blog, I hope you make yourself at home and nose around a bit....teehehehe. I adore the fusion's 2 year celebrations inspiration photo...WOW...the mix of yellow and the bright pink makes me ver happy! I stenciled the yellow chevron onto watercolor paper, it is a hero arts stencil and tim holtz distress ink mustard seed. I used tim holtz picked raspberry for the flowers and added a bit of water to the stamp for a more watercolored look. I then added a yellow enamel dot and ice stickles...LUV this stuff! I can't wait to see what you create! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!
