I had a blast with this card, I have used the amazing stamp set from simon says stamp ranunculus set. There are so many sweet leaves, pods, and bulbs in this set, that make the set so versatile...luv it! I used prima confections to watercolor and then added some metallic white over top for a littel shimmer. I also used tonic nuvo on top of that for a little glimmer. I played along with a couple of challenges, listed below. happy fri-YAY!

WOW, what fun colors, I had a blast; but of course they are all in the color family I LUV...YIPPIE! I used the can you case it sketch, super duper fun, luv the simple CAS look of the sketch but it also has so many options. The butterfly and sentiment are from the simon says stamp set bitty butterflies. I added an embossed background and ink splatter. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine!

with sympathy

I am so far behind on making cards....sigh...I have a lots of sympathy cards to make. This months SCS Cards For A Cause OPTIONAL challenge is to make sympathy cards; so I need them for that, I have an order from one of my faithful buyers, and I thought it would be a great time to add some to my stash. I played along with today's SCS Featured Stamper Challenge, I was inspired by Karin's card here. I really liked all the embossed layering, so I embossed the pink hearts over the white embossing. I also used the colors from the SCS CC528. Add a little glimmer to your life.....sparkle & shine!

Just A Quick Note

I luv when challenges fall together sooooo perfectly, I was inspired by the Curtail Call donut holes, the colors, and the sprinkles. The CAS(E) this sketch was perfect for cutting out the hole, I used multi colors and Tim Holtz white stain spritz and a few silver beads for sprinkles, soooo cute! The colors today from SCS where a wide range, I used three of them; mint, coral, and kraft. Have you heard of Cards For A Cause? We donate unused cards to organizations so that they can give them to others, to encourage and give thanks. It is very rewarding and heartwarming. Snowflake Birthday

I adore the colors from SCS yesterday, soooo gorgeous! I have paired it with the CAS(E) sketch and the Tag You're It challenge. I have used the stunning snowflake die from Simon Says Stamp called Kate, I luv the Simon Says Stamp snowflake dies, there are lots of them to chose from ...so darlin! I had to play along with today's SCS color challenge, I adore the addition of black with these colors. I used the super sweet Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflake dies...just darlin! A quick card sharing my take on the Atlantic Hearts sketch and the color challenge from SCS yesterday. I have used fabric flowers that I stained with Tim Holtz Distressed stain. A mix of sweet patterned papers and the verve sentiment pull this card together. The sentiment is from the Verve set Let It Be; this is from the latest release.
