as you see it - celebrate

hello friends it is time for another as you see it challenge and this week we are challenging you to greys and it is a speed stamper week. confession, I am not good at this at all...I am such a grazer when I am creating...lol. This took me about 15 mins not including drying time of the background, of course you can use a heat gun to speed this process up. I prefer to let mine air dry so I can graze on something else...lol. I have used the sketch from the fusion challenge and a few glittery stars, the bold celebrate sentiment is from sugarpea stamps, celebrate all the things. inspired by - you bring sunshine

ok, so I luv this weeks inspiration pic, I know I say that every week...but, gah...look at those sweet flowers against he cream apron. I went with the pic, sea glass background, cream layer and sweet maroon flowers. these flowers are from the simon says stamp set called, choose joy. this is the cutest stamp set with tons of possibilities...I luv it! I have used daniel smith watercolors for coloring the adorable flowers. The sweet sequins and heart enamels shapes are taylored expressions. simon says stamp - what really matters

Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge it is a sparkle and shine week! We want to see the sparkle,  shine, glimmer, and glitz. The design team is using products from tonic studios. Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I am luvin the sweet stamp set, it is adorable stamped out and the cuuute heart leaves...luv! I have stamped it using tim holtz distress inks and then painted the entire sheet of paper with daniel smith watercolor cobalt teal blue watered down. It is very similar to the simon says stamp sea glass card stock, I luv how it matches, the sea glass card stock is the base of my card. I then added ever so lightly the tonic glitter accents for just a wee bit of glimmer. I can't believe I am about to say this, but sometimes less is more. I think it is just enough, I actually luv the color combo and how it turned out. I cannot wait to see what you create...you gotta luv some glimmer and glitz!

super fun sketch this weeks, so many amazing possibilities, it was created by heather! I have used simon says stamp sea glass card stock for the base and then a stencil with embossing paste for a bit of texture. I added elements from pink fresh studio be you ephemera pack. happy friday friends, what a fun sketch we have for you to work with this week. I luv how you can make a fun little collage of elements for the main focus. I used tim holtz distress inks and created a watercolor splash background, then added embossing paste using a star stencil...luv the look! I have used a piece of designer paper from the simon says stamp march card kit for the main focus of my card; it is sold out. But, you can insure you receive the card kit every month by signing up here. hello peeps, aren't you luvin laurel's inspiration challenges? I know I do and she has more great ones to come every week. Sure hope you will join us for the fun! I was inpsired by the green and the fun banner, I have not created a banner in a long time. I dug around in my extra bin for some fun elements to use as a banner. A no stamping card, but did use a stencil to create the subtle background, adhered the banner, sticker sentiment, and a few gems. well, I could not let laurel's first sketchy saturday come and go without playing along....I am totally a sketch girl...thanks laurel! I have created this card with no stamping, I small piece of watercolor paper and some ink splatter peak out under the sentiment. I went digging around in my leftovers box and pulled this together....a quick and easy way to create a fun card and use up pretty things in your stash! hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I had such fun with this weeks inspiring pic, I have used fun homemade watercolors that I purchased from this etsy shop....have I told you lately how much I luv etsy? I created the background by using a scrap piece of paper and a brush, just adding color in the places  how I wanted. The sentiment and flower are stickers that I have popped up with 3d foam squares and added a few gold sequins and some gold stickles to the center of the flower.
