The Glory

Good morning, I am so thrilled to be bringing to you a super fun creation for Sharon's Stamp Simply Challenge, ssnotime136.  This week she is challenging us to a joy fold card, you can follow the tutorial written by Beate at SCS.  I must confess that this was my first attempt at a joy fold card and I really like the look....it is a fun way to send a card.  I do hope you will play along with us, the other DT's creations are always awesome.
This is also a sneak peek of a Plain Jane that will be released tonight at the Verve release party.  This set is Romans 8:18.
This is also my submission to the Scripture Challenge Word #7 PerfectWhat is more perfect than being revealed in His glory?  Wow, how wonderful that will be!  It is a lot going on but I do hope you will find time to make a joy fold card, that are sweet and such fun.  I hope you have a wonderful Friday, so happy for the the weekends!

If you are looking for the Verve Blog Hop scroll down one or click here!
This is for today's IC222, I used the flower postcard shown here.  I also used Amber's Viva la Verve sketch from last week, you can read all about it here.
I am headed to stamp with friends but wanted to share this card because it is made with new Verve stamps, you can see them all and get yours here. I did some distressing, painted with Tim Holtz distressed paints and added embossing.  This is also for the Scripture Challenge, SCRC210  the word is Home.  I chose the scripture Proverbs 3:33, it speaks of a just home....I also want my home to be filled with sunshine and smiles!  So sorry this is a short post, I am in a hurry, luv reading your comments and thoughts...you guys are super special to me....hugs!  Enjoy your day.

LOVE

LOVE.......I am luvin the snow we are getting....it has been many years since we have seen the snow fall we are getting this year. I have a picture from this morning and it is still snowing......eeekk....beautiful!
Today's card is for the IC218 and I used the photo shown as my inspiration. I also used the sketch from Card Patterns#49. This also fits the Crazy 4 Challenges, C4C23 to make a Valentine. This is also my submission for the Scripture Challenge, the word this week is Abide. I chose the scripture John 15:10. It speaks of abiding in His love, the scripture challenge gets me into Gods word, I hope you will play along.
I used black and chocolate, two of my favorite colors together. Growing up I was taught you don't wear them together, well I do all the time...they are a wonderful pair....perfect for dh....*grin*. I am so luvin the glitter chipboard hearts from Melissa Frances....so cute. I am not sure if you heard me say in a early post that I am saving the pattern from each of these darling hearts, then I can use thin cardboard and cut out hearts and cover with glitter anytime I need one. I used the Verve set Love's Flower, I have gotten so much use out of this set, one of my favorites! I added some stitching, ribbon, and gemstones. I hope you like my creation and there is a real good possibility there will be others today...the snow has us in......and it has me creating....sigh! Enjoy.

Gemstone Flower

Good mojo Monday morning peeps, I really luv today's sketch, Mary has brought us today's sketch.......great job Mary! You got check out the other mojo makers creation over at the Mojo Monday Blog, Mojo122. I rounded the corners on mine, since I do not have ovals nesties. I used a SU embossing folder and sponged it with not quite navy ink for the background. I added a layer of polka dotted dp and stitching. I tied the ribbon in a bow-tie style and added a gem. The flower is from the Verve set Love's Flower, I decided to paper piece the flower; I used two different dp's. I stuck in a few more leaves and the center is a gemstone eyelet. I wanted to play along with the Frosted Designs Challenge to use eyelets. This is also my submission to this weeks Scripture Challenge. The word this week is temptation, I used the scripture Luke 22:40. "Pray that you may not enter into temptation." I hope you have a great day and if there is something that you are tempted by, I encourage you to pray and get a friend to pray with you....enjoy your Monday!

Hope

I created this for several challenges, the CCEE Stampers, CCEE1002 sketch. It is also for the Embellish Challenge to use purple, kraft, and chocolate and to use stripes. I added stripes with a marker to the right side of the sentiment. I am not sure if I like that or not, but I trying to make it work...lol. I also added stripes to the kraft piece of card stock with my scor pal. Finally, it is for the Scripture Challenge over at Patter Cross Blog, SCRC210. the first word is Hope. The scripture is a Verve stamp Psalm 31:24. I used the crystal flourish to accent the scripture panel, it came from Hope Stamps Eternal. I hope that you have a wonderful evening, enjoy!
