Stampers Dream-Sympathy Card

I have played along with a couple of challenge today, a new one fro me called The Ribbon Reel....if you are looking for a great sketch give this one a try.  I have used JustRite Stamps, I am still working on the large custom order; that is the reason for all of the sympathy cards.  I have a gal that orders tons of sympathy cards from me to always have one on hand.  This JR set is the best sympathy set I have seen, so many caring sentiments...it is called Sympathy Nested Sentiments and it is on sale.  I have used the fabulous Spellbinders Nesties Labels Twenty shapes to showcase the sentiment.  I want to let you in on a little secret, I did not think I  needed all of these shapes, but I do and YOU do too.....*grin*.....pick your up today!  These gorgeous shapes really add to your completed card, really they do.  The Spellbinders are wonderful paired with the JR sets, be sure to pick yours up today!  I added a felt butterfly that has been cut with My Favorite Things Die, so sweet paired together.  I embossed onto the gorgeous designer paper by Melissa Frances called Vintage Attic and yes it looks like it came from you Grandmothers attic...I luv that!  I hope your hump day is a good one....I am still home enjoying my time away from work......make the most of today...enjoy!

Superstar

Here is a simple CAS card I made for several challenges, I needed a sports card for the Teapot Tuesday ChallengeThis is my first time playing along, it is a great challenge!  Not only do they challenge you, we send our creations to a person needing encouraging, how cool is that?  I do not have any sports images so I just went with a ticket and a star, if you are into sports you surely want to be a star!  The "superstar" sentiment is from the Verve set StarstruckI have a long list of cards I need this week, so playing along with these challenges has helped me to get them done.  Have a super day...enjoy!

To Comfort You

Good morning, I am sharing with you today I sympathy card I made; I really need to keep more of these on hand.  I used the stamps from JustRite, called Sympathy Nested Sentiments....which happens to be on sale.  I luv what this says, I always feel like I cannot say enough to express how sorry I am for the loved one.  I also used the new Spellbinders made for JustRite, you have got to pick yours up.  I have always wanted something to make corner tabs or the photo corners....I used the set here for this card.  There is another set too, you can see it here.  I cannot wait to see what the future holds for JustRite and Spellbinders...woohoo!  I did a little spongin, stitching, added the beautiful May Arts Lace Trim and ribbon.  The sweet butterflies complete my soothing sympathy card.  I used the Curtain Call Colors.  I hope you have a wonderful inspiring day....enjoy!

Fun Pink Cupcake

Don't forget to check in tomorrow morning the winner of the Verve stamp set from CTD100 Challenge will be announced.  Hello and happy Thursday, my card today is for several challenges.  The sketch is from Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge,WMSC5; the colors are from the Color Q, COC41; and the inspiration is from the Moxie Fab to make a fun and cute card.  Well, I don't know about you but cupcakes always mean fun, especially for the belly...yummy and they are so cute!  I used the cupcake from My Favorite Things, It's a Cupcake Kind of Day.  I paper pieced the cupcakes, added stickles for a littler shimmer.  I embossed the back panel and scored the long panel.  I hope you have a fun cupcake kind of day....enjoy!

Seeing Stars-Ready Set Stamp Verve Challenge

I have a couple of Father's Day cards to share, the first is using Sharon's Stamp Simply Challenge, it is a sketch this week, ssnotime144 and for the Color Cue color challenge.  I had forgotten where I found the Color Cue challenge, but I found it today...yeah!  I saved it in my side bar with all the other daily challenges.  I used the Verve stamp Seeing Stars, Julee has posted the new Ready Set Stamp Challenge using this set Seeing Stars, you could win a $30 gift certificate from the Verve store...wow!  That is a challenge worth taking, don't ya think?

My second card is for the Curtain Call Color Challenge Act34 and for Everything But The Kitchen Sink Challenge, EBTKS17;  it is a sketch.  This sketch was perfect for the simple Father's Day card I needed for my Father in law.  It had been a long time since I played along with the kitchen sink gals, if you have time check out their fun challenges!   I adore these colors together, I kept it simple but added textured by embossing and distressing.  The sentiment is from the Verve set Dad's Day.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend planned, dh and are going to take our first motorcycle ride of the year.  Since he has had his surgery he has not felt like riding, we will have a nice relaxing day on the bike, stopping for lunch and shopping if the mood hits....hehehe.  Enjoy your weekend!

Wishing You Sunshine

I created this for my fourth week as the guest designer for Just Us Girls.  I have had a great time this month, the JUGS challenges are fun and new every week, I luv their concept.  This week they are challenging us to a Template, JUGS34; I have chosen the fun Slip Cover Template from the store of Lauren Meader.  I used the PTI set Button Bits, adding buttons and silver beads.  I added stitching to the cover and twill ribbon.  This slip cover holds A2 size cards perfectly, you could also fill it with candy, or stamping embellies and give it has a gift.  I used the colors from the Color Cue Color Challenge, #4.  I hope you play along, I make every effort to visit your blog and show some luv!  Have a wonderful Saturday.  Enjoy!
