ok, I have a confession, totally got my three in a row messed up...sorry. I should have used watercoloring and I used the flower, but didn't watercolor it. I have used my favorite stamp company, the stamp market...luv these stamps! I used birthday wishes and botanicals stamp & cut bundle, such a gorgeous stamp! I used the amazing sketch created by laurel, luv her saturday sketches! happy monday friends, hope you have a wonderful week!

ok, so I luv this weeks inspiration pic, I know I say that every week...but, gah...look at those sweet flowers against he cream apron. I went with the pic, sea glass background, cream layer and sweet maroon flowers. these flowers are from the simon says stamp set called, choose joy. this is the cutest stamp set with tons of possibilities...I luv it! I have used daniel smith watercolors for coloring the adorable flowers. The sweet sequins and heart enamels shapes are taylored expressions. Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge it is an anything goes week....you gotta luv that! I am luvin the sweet birthday candles...so fun and festive. I have used several different color inks to ink up the image and then stamped it out. I fussy cut the candles out and then added stickles to them for an extra little shine. I also used some designer paper strips from my stash for a little added extra color keeping with the color theme. Be sure to stop by all the other designers blogs and see what they have created.

sunday stamps - birthday wishes

I am luvin these greens together and I really did start my card with the darker greens in mind. of course it ended up with the aqua's in there...*grin*. I have used my all time favorite daniel smith watercolor ink that I have...I know there are hundreds of colors. But, this one is by far my favorite of what I have, it is called quinacridone oceanic...it is the only color in the background; but look how many different colors emerge...luv it! I have used a simon says stamp floral set, even more spring flowers and the birthday wishes sentiment from the set called birthday bits. I cannot wait to see how you use this weeks colors...happy sunday!

as you see it - can't wait to see whats around the corner

hello and welcome to fri-YAY and the weekend...they sure don't roll around fast enough, do they? This weeks as you see it challenge is something borrowed, I borrowed the idea to use washi tape as a background page/designer paper. The flowery piece is washi tape from simple stories, I then used alcohol ink for the top and added a sweet red flower that I had in my stash box. Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams creations, these ladies are awesome!

inspired by - love

hello friends and welcoem to another fabulous week of inspired by, these ladies are amazing and the inspiration pics are so fun! I was inspired by the plaid tea towels on the line and of course the clothes line itself. I created a little banner using the letter from a pink fresh sticker pack. I used time holtz distressed ink to stencil the plaid background which is also a tim holtz stencil and the fun stamp market flowers were in my little stash box. I hope you have an amazing day and make time to play along with us!

I am sharing another flower set from the technique tuesday greenhouse society stamp set. You can subscribe to receive the stamp and die of the month every month here. The flowers are just lovely, this stamp set reminded me of my mom and the home I grew up in, we had these gorgoeus purple iris in our flower bed. I have colored these using daniel smith watercolors and added white gel pen markings too. I have also played along with the sketch saturday sketch. Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge it is a sparkle and shine week! We want to see the sparkle,  shine, glimmer, and glitz. The design team is using products from tonic studios. Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I am luvin the sweet stamp set, it is adorable stamped out and the cuuute heart leaves...luv! I have stamped it using tim holtz distress inks and then painted the entire sheet of paper with daniel smith watercolor cobalt teal blue watered down. It is very similar to the simon says stamp sea glass card stock, I luv how it matches, the sea glass card stock is the base of my card. I then added ever so lightly the tonic glitter accents for just a wee bit of glimmer. I can't believe I am about to say this, but sometimes less is more. I think it is just enough, I actually luv the color combo and how it turned out. I cannot wait to see what you create...you gotta luv some glimmer and glitz!
