big hugs

A super fun and easy card for a couple of challenges, luv the big hugs die from neat and tangled..so cute. I have used the colors from the color throwdown. I cut the die and then cut the die using fun foam and layered it...fun foam makes it super easy to layer with intricate details. I also played along with the casology, super CAS...I hope this fits the challenge.

have a merry heart

a sweet gold, black and white cas card for the merry challenge over at casogoly. I luv the word merry and knew I wanted to play but didn't want to make a christmas card. I had this fun heart from concord & 9th on my desk already so I paired it with the black and white tag; I came up with the sentiment "have a merry heart"..I like it, a lot! The heart is from the set tree hugs and the have a is from the paper smooches set crystal clear. I am enjoying my time in the studio and cannot wait to create this coming week.....fun, fun! Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine, kindness!

JOY

A quick CAS card for the new Freshly Made Sketch, I  wanted to play as soon as I saw it. I used my beloved SU glimmer paper...totally luv. I die cut the "JOY" letters using the Tim Holtz letter die and the colored the silver paper with Pool Party ink. I used pop dots to adhere to the embossed circle...sweet and simple Christmas card. Luv how this turned out, did you notice it sorta matches my new blog header and icons? I am so very happy with the new look of my blog, you can get your very OOAK from Jacy, tell her I sen ya! I am sharing a CAS card I created to play along with Retro Sketches, this week you can pick your favorite sketch from the past.  I have lots of favorites, this is actually the last sketch and I did not have a chance to play so I used it as my starting point.  I have alos played along with a couple other challenges listed below.  I used the new papers and borders from Teresa Collins, I luv the new collections!  This one is called Memories I adore the patterns and colors in the paper pack.  The sweet butterfly and sentiment are from the Verve release.  I hope you have a wonderful day...enjoy!

A quick little CAS card to share, still bringing in the New Year with lots of hopes and dreams!  I adore this quote, the stamp is a Itty Bitty from Unity.  One thing is for sure, we must believe; if we are to meet our goals...BELIEVE!  I have embossed the bottom section, added a piece of designer card stock across the top and tied with bakers twine, very sweet and simple!  Check out my Etsy Boutique, I have listed this card along with others.  I hope you are off to a great start to your year...enjoy!
