hello friends, if you want to read why I have been absent for a bit, scroll down further to next paragraph. this is my card for this weeks inspired by challenge...I had such fun with this weeks card. I have used some ink splatter, some fun patterned papers and die cut hearts, one of which has been watercolored. the sticker is from tim holtz.

my father passed away unexpectedly and in an instant after a day of fishing on may 7...his favorite past time especially since losing my mom five years ago. it was a shock to us, but he really did get a first class ticket; he died doing what he loved and never knew he left the world! to be parentless is the greatest feeling of emptiness I have ever felt in my life....it is the kind of heartache you can feel in your bones. I will miss them greatly, but I have made it a priority to keep them alive in truth and honor! I anxiously await what the Lord has for me and my hubs, this is a BIG transition and I feel changes coming! always make the most of everyday, life has no guarantees!

Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge it is a week of adding texture...so fun! The design team is using products from the amazing tim holtz.  Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I had such fun with this card, I am luvin the criss cross stencil from tim holtz, it is a very popular design all over now days. I used black embossing paste to add texture to my card, luv it against the white card stock! I then added a couple of fun layers, a strip of designer paper, a white tag, and the awesome chipboard sentiments from tim holtz. I then added a couple of eneamel dots. The script word "BE" is from a concord & 9th letter set. A super fun card to create, I cannot wait to see what you do with texture!

I have used the sweet tim holtz tree set, I luv the different trees in this set; so whimsical! You can pick the trees up separately here. I have used the speckle stencil for a bit of snow falling and then created the snowy hills using simon says stamp stitched hills dies...these are such fun dies! The sentiment is a tim holtz rub on, I am luving these too, such a fun little font and are so easy to use. Hope you have a great week, I can't wait to see what you create!

sunday stamps - hope is never lost

hello friends, I so luv this weeks colors...eeep! I am a big fan of pink and orange together...so fun, cheery, happy, and bright! I have created a watercolor splash background using two different tim holtz distress inks. I then reached for my little container of leftover flowers...eep and pulled together different ones to make a fun flowery bloom! The chipboard sentiment os from tim holtz and I added simon says stamp clear sequins. I can't wait to see what you do with these colors...have fun!

hello friends, happy sunday funday! Isn't this weeks sunday stamps colors so cheerful? I luv the mix of raspberry and lemon. I have used ken oliver color burst for the stop portion and then to tone it down a bit, I added a piece of vellum. The awesoem chipboard sentiment is tim holtz quote chips and you can get it in the simon says stamp store. The felt is from taylored expressions and the flower shape is from verve. I have added nuvo drops to the center of the flower. I hope you have an amazing day and I cannot wait to see how you use this weeks colors!

Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge, we are making it masculine this week! We are using tim holtz products to inspire you. Be sure to play along with the simon says stamp monday challenge too, they are making it masculine this week as well. I have used the fun tim holtz stamp set called french market, I choose the argyle shape for the main focus. I little distress ink wash for the background and ink splatter bring it all together. I created this for my dad and whenever I make a card for my hubs or dad I use something a tiny bit feminine or glittery to represent my love for them! The little heart has a bit of stickles over it, I have also used pretty pink posh droplets and nuvo drops.
