Mojo Monday Sketch-You Are Fabulous

Good morning it is time for another Mojo sketch, Mojo177; I had such fun with this one.  I used the colors from this weeks Curtain Call, Act68 and the JUGS69 challenge to make your own 3D flower.  I made one of the accordion flowers using sheet music paper, I topped it with a button and bakers twine.  I added stitching to the diamond panel, stamped the "Fabulous You" sentiment on a tag and stitched it to the main panel.  I also added a small piece of lace trim to the tag, so cute.  I finished it off with two stick pins, with tiny pink flower tops, so very cute.  I hope your Monday is fabulous...I cannot wait to see what you come up with using this weeks Mojo sketch!  Enjoy!

Dreaming of A White Christmas

I created this for the Dirty Dozen Sketch Challenge and the theme challenge of music.  I have been singing "I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas."  We got snow a couple of days ago and it has been so cold that there is still snow on the ground; that might have to do, but I would really like to have fresh snow...hehehe.  I used the Curtain Call Colors Act61.  I will be home this week and plan on posting something every day....now that I have told you that I will have to stick to it...lol.  I used the gorgeous snowflakes from the Verve set Glad Tidings and the sentiment is from the set Merry Wishes.  I added glitter to the snowflakes, I can hardly make naked snowflakes anymore...hehehehe.....I am so luvin chunky glitter.  I used stitching and my EK Success border punch on the bottom.  I tied it with bakers twine, I figured I had better start using the bakers twine instead of collecting it.  I finished it off with a SU button.  Make the most of your day and time with family, the days go by so quickly...enjoy!

Mojo Monday Sketch-Friendship

Good morning, it is time for another fun Mojo Monday sketch....this one is perfect for the new Verve set Text Objects.  I cannot tell you how cute this set is, the text is so sweet and the sailboat..look how cute?  I paper pieced this cutie using the color from Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge, I hand drew the little heart on the side.  I am also submitting this in the Moxie Fab Challenge to make a Love creation, there is nothing that says "love" more than a great friendship...I am friends with two gals I have been friends with since the third grade, how cool is that?  These girls are true friends and this new Verve sentiment says it perfectly!  I hope you will join us for this weeks mojo sketch, it is a contest week......woohoo!  Have a bright and sunny Monday....enjoy!

Curtain Call Colors-Operation Write Home

Good morning all, this is a long post but I have some exciting news to share and the information here is important.  The awesome news is that I have the humble and honored opportunity to help Operation Write Home Celebrate there birthday this month.....yippie!  I am going to encourage you to play along and submit your cards to OWH.  They are having challenges everyday and prizes, you can read more about that here.  My challenge is up tomorrow and of course there will be prizes, you will have two chances to win.  I have made a birthday card today to wish OWH a very happy birthday!  I have made two cards, the first card cannot be sent to OHW, it is square.  There are guidelines you must follow when submitting your card to send to the soldiers, sending only A2 cards is one of those guidelines....you will need to go here and read all about that.  I also tend to make my cards a little cas(plainer) because of the whole shipping thing.  Remember these cards will be shipped at least three times.
I have used this weeks Curtain Call Colors Act47, they are great manly colors.  I was thinking about the women who serve when I was making these.  I made my own ticket, I do not have a ticket die yet(notice I say yet...hehehehe).  I took kraft paper and cut it to the size I wanted, clipped the ends with my SU punch, and then distressed the ends.....so easy!  These fit  Sharon's Stamp Simply Challenge, ssnotime156; challenge, to make it manly.  I also used the sketch from OCCSC31 a week or so back, the stamps are Skipping Stones Designs, luv this cake!

For this card I used the same Curtain Call Colors and the sketch from Taylors Sketch Challenge, TESC127.  I flipped the sketch and used all Verve stamps on this one.  Be sure to give the Curtain Call DT some luv and I cannot wait to see what you create, you have plenty of challenges to get your mojo flowing.
