good day friends, happy spring! we are having freezing temps and it is calling for snow tonight...uugghhh. I do not know about you, but I am ready for spring/summer...this stamp set from lil' inker will surely get you in the springtime mood; it is called sweet celebration! It is adorable, sweet flowers and a gorgoeus heart..a favorite embellie of mine to use! welcoem to the second official week of inspired by, what an amazing team laurel has put together! you are gonna want to play along for sure! I was inspired by the snow and the snail mail delivery. I have used a paste embossing background and then added a few favorite elements. The heart is watercolored and it is from lil inker, the sentiment is verve, the got mail on the envelope is right at home and the flowers are reverse confetti. A super fun card to put together and it is going out to a very special friend...for realz! I can't wait to see what you create and I encourage you to send the card you make!

as you see it - sending big hugs

happy friday, friends, it is time for this weeks as you see it challenge and it is an amazing sketch..I luv it. I have been on the aqua/purple color combo kick for awhile..I luv this combo! I am a huge fan of the aqua, but just recently started using purple and the two together are stunning! I created a bold purple background using daniel smith watercolors and then added some paper artsy aqua paint splatter. The stitched hearts are my all time favorite lil inker...you know it is the season to use hearts. I actually reach for them all the time. They are the perfect embellishments, everybody needs a little love! The sentiment if from a casual friday stamp set. crazy 4 challenges sept guest - sunshine & smiles

I am super excited to share with you all that I am once again guesting for crazy 4 challenges...if you do not play along with them...you should! This weeks challenge is end of summer....ocean, shells, sea horses, boats, dolphins, or nautical. I have created a ocean tag with the adorable flip flops from lil inker...these are super sweet! The sun is also a lil inker die cut, I have added googling eyes for some fun. Sure hope you join us for the end of summer fun!

I have played along with the challenge from paper crafts crew, I also used a sketch from a few weeks back! I luv'd the sketch then and didn't have time to play...fun little keeper. I used a piece of watercolor paper that I had used ken oliver color burst on..it was in my recycle pile. I pulled it out and then added a little embossing paste, the gold heart and simon says stamp handwritten sympathy sentiment. Hope you have a wonderful day!

good morning friends, it is time for another sunday stamps challenge and this week we have a sketch for you..it is a taller sketch. I have created a 4bar sized card, cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock to 3 1/2 x 9 3/4 and then score on the long side at 4 7/8...I like the way this size stands for a darlin flip up card. I have played along with the tic, tac toe challenge too. I have used the top row, my accent is the sweet flip flops die cut from a lil inker die. The blue watercolored background and that is my coloring. The thank you sentiment is from concord & 9th, a great size. I can't wait to see what you create!

good morning friends, it is time for another AMAZING color challenge from sunday stamps. purple has never been my go to color, but as of lately(because of altenew inks) I am really luvin the look especially paired with my favorite color...green...lime to be exact! A super quick card, it has been a very busy week. I created a purple splash background and then used a die cut heart that was lying on my desk for the focal point. I sponged the green, stamped the sentiment; it is from carta bella flora set, added a few scraps of patterned paper, white twine, and white enamel dots. I cannot wait to see how you inspire me this weeks with the purples...have fun!

I have created a sweet little shaker using lil' inker's stitched butterflies die and then filled it with lots of sequins and beads. I watercolored the background using paints from finetec. I had a blast with this card tonight, such a fun color combo and I luv the sentiment. Had to add the little ink stitched heart...sweet. A watercolored background is sooo romantic..I luv the look! I hope you have a great week, I am off after working twenty days in a row without one off...so to say the least..I am over the top excited! Have a shopping trip planned with the hubs and some projects around the house and of course morning coffee on the deck...now that is living!

It is time for another sunday stamps challenge and this week we have a super fun sketch...one of my favorites..luv! I have used the fusion photo as an inspiration for my card. I have used the colors and added a pop of black for the pop. I used the stitched stars from lil' inker and the sentiment is from a hero arts set. I used dry embossing with paste embossing, the paste embossing is white stars, they are a little hard to see. A super fun card to create, I cannot wait to see what you create with this weeks sketch!

WOW....I am so excited to be guesting for the challenge this week....check out the gorgeous inspiration photo we are workng with. Two of my favorite things, color and hearts....eeeccckkk. I decided to watercolor a variety of hearts in roygbiv colors and of course I added a few clear gemstones and placed them randomly on the card. The stitched heart dies are lil'inker....soooo sweet! The sentiment and twine complete my card. I cannot wait to see what you create.

I have used the awesome big ole' dots...modern pop dots stencil for my background. I used tim holtz festive berries red...so pretty! I stenciled in a messy way, luv how it turned out. I then cut out the star using Lil' Inker stitched star dies and the added wendy vecchi embossing paste and the memory box textured distressed grid stencil. The awesome words are from the versatile sentiment set called words to live by. i added pretty pink posh star sequins, and hero arts clear gemstones to each one, a few enamel dots, and twine to finish my card.
