freshly made sketches/fms324 - me & you, love always

hi friends, I thought this weeks freshly made sketch would be perfect for the hubbys valentine card. I added a bit of a watercolor background and then starting adding elements that I have in a little stash box. well, actually I have several little stash boxes; one for valentines/love, one for christmas, flowers, leaves, hearts, stars, sentiments, and the list goes on and on. I save the leftovers from making other cards so that I can piece them together later for a fun card, I luv doing this! I added a few gold enamels hearts and dots and luv how it turned out! I have used the super fun simon says stamp heart parade die and covered it with tim holtz broken china distress oxide ink. I then stamped the love you sentiment inside one of the hearts, the sweet block sentiment is from the simon says stamp really like you stamp set. be mine always

A quick valentine card for my hubby, using my new stamps from the stamp market...luv this new company! I used the background heart stamp to make a make a subtle heart background and then I used the heart die and cut out the heart shape with watercolor paper. I then sponged tim holtz inks around it. The sentiment is from a carta bella stamp and the sweet little add on sticker phrases are crate paper. I added some striped bakers twine and a couple of grey gemstones. Have a super sunday!

sunday stamps - love on valentines day

I have created a little funky pastel mixed media design on my card; I have used heavy body paints from dina wakley, so fun to work with. I then cut out some heart using a black & white striped designer paper. The sentiment is from a new simon says stamp new release hey love. I also tilted the base panels for a little added fun! I can't wait to see what you create with this weeks sunday stamps sketch!

We are spotlighting goodies from simon says stamp....so much goodness to play with. Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I have used the new to me and new to simon says stamp heart stencil, luv the sweet hearts. I added pink ink from prima confections pan to give it a sweet pink color. I added the sentiment cut from the die in the set kristina's love stamp and dies set. I also added a black ink dot in each hearts corner for a little something extra without adding gems. A easy card to replicate for valentine's.

I have used the awesome new stamp set from simon says stamp release called hey love, this set and the hearts are called; hey love and clipping heart die. I have used daniel smith paint for the watercolored background. The plaid paper is from lawn fawn called plaid winter. A few gemstones and glossy accents drops make this a cutie of a card and super simple too!

I have used the adorable new stamp set all my love from simon says stamp from the hey love collection, check it out. I have used prima watercolor inks for the background and the amazing felt from taylored expressions for the little heart. I adore the CAS feel of this card and of course it has a heart, one of my favorite things to use. I can't wait to see what you create!

This week we are making it girly at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. I am all about girly, that means, glitter, shimmer, shine, flowers, pink and of course a little black accent...nothing says girly more to me than a little "black tie".

I needed a card for a wedding shower and thought this weeks challenge was perfect, so I went with a girly love card. I used pink distressed ink and added a little embossing using a hero arts stencil...have you checked out all the stencils choices hero arts offered.....lots and lots! I am luvin hero arts love stamp sets, I have used two different sets for this card. A little black accent twine and a few clear gems make it girly for sure!

 hi frineds, it is time for one of the challenges at your next stamp; I have used the sketch. I went with a mixed media background using ken oliver color bursts and then spritzed with white mister huey's. I adore the stripe-tastics heart dies from your next stamp company, sweet set, you can get yours here. I so luv the font on this sentiment, it is called whatnot sentiments set four. I layered the hearts and sentiment, added a twine bow and of course my beloved clear gemstones...sweet. hello friends, I am one of the guests this month at your next stamp and it is time for the DT dare...the dare is to use red. Of course I reached for the amazing new stripe-tastics heart die for my card...I lu it! I watercolored the paper and then placed a piece of glitter paper behind the stripes for a little shine...luv!
