hi friends, I have used the technique tuesday greenhouse society stamp for july, isn't it gorgoeus? I was drawn to the flowers in the inspiration picture and the beautiful color of the chairs, perfect for hydrangeas. I luv these flowers, I colored them using daniel smith watercolors, totally luv using daniel smith watercolors...such gorgeous vibrant colors! I am sharing another flower set from the technique tuesday greenhouse society stamp set. You can subscribe to receive the stamp and die of the month every month here. The flowers are just lovely, this stamp set reminded me of my mom and the home I grew up in, we had these gorgoeus purple iris in our flower bed. I have colored these using daniel smith watercolors and added white gel pen markings too. I have also played along with the sketch saturday sketch. I added ink color to my embossing paste and then used a checkered stencil for a fun background. I am sharing a darlin little bird set from technique tuesday. I sponged the clouds with a circular piece of paper and tim holtz distress inks. The grass is cut using an mft grass die and silver washi tape across the bottom of the tag. Some white and silver twine, pretty pink posh clear droplets and the sentiment complete my card. I have used the stamp set from technique tuesday called dandelion, super fun set. I have added some stickles to the fly away seeds and then shimmery eneamel dots from doodlebug. I also created a couple of clear glue dots using glossy accents. The green cardstock is bazzil, minted bling heavy weight cardstock. I added the birthday sentiment that was cut out using mft mini tabs dies.

happy mother's day to all the mothers out there, this is a super had day for me, harder than any day of the year...it has been a very hard week. I wanted to share this cute happy card with you today, I am trying to spread joy all around and hoping to get a little on myself in return! The sweet long legged birds are from technique tuesday, luv this cute little set called chickadee. I was inspired by the tag from tag you're it, I embossed the brick wall and sponged over it once it was dry with tim holtz pumice stone ink.

ok, poppies are another favorite flower...I know, I do say this about a lot of flowers...lol. I do luv sweet poppies, especially coral colored glittery ones....eeecckkkk...be still my beating heart! I have used prima watercolor pencils, I discovered them and luv them...I do need them all...lol...you will too if you try them, they are soft and flowie. I have then covered the poppies with tim holtz dry glitter, one of my favorite glitters too....I do have a lot of favorites..*grin*. Let's talk about the black & white gawgeous striped paper...I am in luv, it is from concord & 9th! It is more of a thick tissue paper, but man do I luv the modern look it gives to a card, you can see this card here that I used it on too. I colored the clothespin with the colored pencils too and also covered it with glitter...my kind of card....so fun! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

good morning, I hope you have a great day! I am super excited about Thanksgiving, I cook every year and I luv it! We enjoy our family time and eating leftovers...yummo! I have used the gorgeous poppy set from Technique Tuesday for my card today, I luv these poppies; fits on this tag from casual fridays perfectly. I colored with zig clean color water makers, I luv using my zig markers! I can't wait to see what you do with this weeks sketch. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine, kindness!

In Bloom Birthday

Hi peeps, I have a birthday card to share with you today.  I have been cleaning around here and haven't gotten much stamping in, be sure to keep a check this weekend *wink* I plan on changing that.  I used the great sketch from SCS295 , the colors from TCD107, and the challenge over in the SCS forum from Technique Tuesdays, TTSCS3 to use one of the little treasures sets.  I stamped a garden of flowers, added tenie tiny bling to the centers, and added that ruffled ribbon.  That is the latest technique being shown at SCS, don' ya luv it?  You can see the how to's here.  Ribbon is one of my favorite embellishments and there are countless ways to use it. Even though I have tons of ribbon, I cannot wait until I can order that new yummy cherry cobbler ribbon from SU, boy oh boy is that gorgeous!  Thanks to all for your continued support and comments, you stopping by and taking time to comment really makes me smile.....you will never know.  There are some that do not have blogs for me to visit and comment back, to those people I am waving with both hands, thank you!  Enjoy.
