JUGS-Just Because

Happy weekend guys and dolls...it is suppose to be a gorgeous weekend here, a motorcycle trip is in the plans.  I hope you have some fun planned for the great outdoors.  This is my last week as the JUGS guest designer, it has been a blast playing along with these gals.  This week we are challenging you to emboss resist.....they bring you an new and different challenge every week...luv that!  I am sharing a card today that is using the new My Time Made Easy Stamps that will be released May 1.  This is a one of the bees that is in the set, I used Stella Rose Deisgner Paper.  Bee....hehehehe... sure to check it out May 1, it is a must have set.  I have added lace trim, distressing ,and crinkled ribbon.  Have a super day...enjoy!

My Time Made Easy

Hi peeps, I am so thrilled to be this months guest at My Time Made Easy, the templates and stamps this month are soooo sweet!  I have used the new template, Barrow of Blooms to create this adorable little wheel barrel.  I have added the gorgeous flower to the outside of my barrow of blooms, so fitting; don't ya think?  I also used pearl brads for the hub caps on the wheels...so cute, yes I am truly a girly girl...lol.  I have also made my card some what matching.  Did I tell ya I luv this flower?  I luv using two sided designer paper because the inside of the barrel is pretty too!  It is in the set called  Bee Loved.  The templates and stamps will be released on May 1, be sure to head over to the MTME Shop for yours.  All the latest details can be found on Lauren's Blog.  I used the fabulous designer papers from Stella Rose, My Mind's Eye.  I added glass glitter to my flowers to give them that extra glitz!  Be sure to check back over the next several days as I will be adding other creation using the sets to be released.  I hope you are planning a fabulous weekend and the sun shines in your neighbor...enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Just For You

Good evening, I have created a darling little square card for you today.  I wanted to play along with some of the great challenges tonight.  I statred with JutsRite stamps from Stanpers Dream.  I used two different sets for this card, Decoraitve Border and Birthday Sentiments.
I used designer papers from My Mind's Eye, the gorgeous Stella Rose collection.  I added a little cream colored paint to the borders, stitching, a Maya Road Chipboard(luv these) piece and ribbon.  I added a button with Burlap String to the top left corner.  I used the Spellbinders Blossom to cut the main image panel.  I hope you are having a great week, I am again counting the days until the weekend.  Make the most of today....enjoy!

Verve Diva Dare

Good morning friends, it is my turn to bring to you my creation for the diva dare.  You can comment and play along over at the Verve Blog for your chance at winning.  For my turn at the dare, I knew I wanted to use the flowers from Hope Blooms.  I luv layering these and making them shabby.  I stamped them onto Stella Rose designer paper by My Mind's Eye and then randomly cut part the way down the blooms.  Then I took my stylus and curled the edges. I kept the rest of my card super simple, because I wanted the flowers to pop in the gorgeous red!  I added a little stitching, distressing, and bakers twine.  The Hope Blooms set is full of wonderful sentiments, the "life is good" is also from that set.  I cannot wait to see what you create, have a wonderful day...enjoy!

Mojo Monday Sketch-Miss You Like Crazy

Good morning, it is time for this weeks Mojo Sketch, it is a circle or square week....luv both!  I have made a circle card, making it sweet and girly.  I added a flower that I misted with spritz, the crinkled ribbon, lace, and amber colored gem adds to the sweetness.  The sentiment is from the new Verve set Hope Blooms, this was my favorite set released this month!  I used Verve's A Cut Above Dies,  Jotted Heart  is the name of this one, this heart shape is so sweet.  I added a little stitching in the bottom left part of the circle and then a little distressing and sponging.  Don't forget the diva dare has started and you can link up your creation over at the Verve Blog.   There are two ways of winning, enter your creation and commenting of the divas creations, two winners will be chosen.....definitely worth playing for, don't ya think?  I hope your Monday is a good one...enjoy!

JUGS-Gift Set

Hello friends, I am guesting with the fine gals over at JUGS this month and today's challenge is a template challenge with a spring theme.  I used the FREE template given by My Time Made Easy and made a Memory game and a birthday card.  This is great for a birthday party gift, game, sleep over, camping, or any kind of get together.  This could be given as a gift or you could make the game to play at a child's birthday party and the winner takes home the Memory game.  It can be enjoyed by the young and old...hehehehe.  I used the My Time Made Easy sketch challenge for my card.  I kept my box super simple, since I was making the matching cards to go inside.   This is a great time to use punches to make your cards, super easy and fast.  I hope you will join us in the fun and use a template to make something you can give as a gift or use this spring in your home.  Hope your day is filled with sunshine...enjoy.

Wishing You The Sweetest Things

I created this card to be able to play in a new challenge, it is called Friday MashUP.  This weeks challenge is to use black, white, and make it a sqaure card.  I used the sentiment from My Favorite Things set Polka Dot Greetings.  I added a button to the tag and covered it in glass glitter.  The butterfly is the SU Bigz die, I have gotten so much use from that die....it is a favorite of mine!  I added a gemstone to the center of the butterfly, used the MFT dainty dots die and bakers twine to complete my card.  The size of my square cards are 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.  You can still use a A2 envelope with this size if you choose, I buy 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 square envelopes to fit perfectly.  This was a fun card to make and it is available in my Etsy Shop if you so desire.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend....enjoy!

Hi, I am so glad ths week is over...lol.  I do not have to go back to work until Tuesday, it has been a long anticipated break.  I hope you have great things planned for this Easter weekend.  I am sharing a card made with JustRite stamps, you can get your JustRite stamper at Stampers Dream.  I used the set Be Happy for this  card, I stamped the sentiment and cut out with a circle shape and then layered it unto the square scroll.  I used Prima lace and crinkled ribbon tied with a button and burlap string.  The papers are from the Stella Rose collection by My Mind's Eye.  Well, that is all for me tonight, I hope to have more creations to share this weekend.  The dh and I are wanting to get in a motorcycle ride; the weather has just not been good this year, no real warm days yet.  I hope you have a wonderful evening, thanks so much for stopping by and for commenting.  Your comments mean so much to me.....enjoy!

Mojo Monday Sketch-Praying For You

Good Mojo Monday morning peeps, I am sharing today's Mojo187 sketch...I luv it!  Maria designed this weeks sketch, be sure to head over to the Mojo Monday Blog and share the luv with the other mojo makers.  I need a card for a good friend who is having a ruff time.  I wanted it to be fun and cheery as well as heartfelt.  I used the new Floral Circle Die Set to make the flowers in the main panel....so quick and easy.  Cut out the desired amount of circle and then scrunch until you get the look you like.  I added a black gem to the centers and my beloved glass glitter to the edges.  The sentiment is from the Faithful Phrases set and is stamped on a PinkPaislee ticket.  I hope you will join us this week with today's fun sketch.  Have a pleasant week...enjoy!

Masculine Card-Praying For You

I played along with several challenges to create today's masculine card.  I really should keep more manly cards on hand, they are like sympathy cards; it seems I never have enough if my stash.  I like to use stars for manly cards like I use flowers on all other cards.  I used My Favorite Things sketch for this one, using the star border die at the bottom.  The sentiment is from the new Verve set Faithful Phrases.  I used black burlap sting and tied it with a chunky brown button, distressing, and a little stitching complete my card.

It is back to work tomorrow, it is a short week for me and a super long weekend ahead.  I get Friday and Monday for Easter.....I am looking very forward to it!  I have had to work the last three weeks without a week off...lol.  I am hoping for another week off come the first of May.  Hope your evening is great...enjoy!

Ace Of Cakes Inspired Card-Praise God

Hi friends, I have a quick challenge card to share....I need a manly card for a fellow in our church who was in a horrible truck accident.  He is going to be ok, it could have been much, much worse, so we are praising God for the miracle.  I used Tim Holtz stamps to make this collage on the tag shape and then I added the Verve sentiment using A Cut Above Verve Dies to frame it.  The sentiment is from the new set Faithful Phrases.  I also used a cake from today's IC280 as my inspiration, you can see it here.  Have a super Saturday evening, we have nothing bad rain today, some ares 3 or 4 inches.....we are ready for sunshine......enjoy!
