I had to play along with Cardabilities, luv the sketches they share! I went with a square card keeping true to the sketch, so sweet, luv how it turned out. I used a butterfly, tulle, lace, hair pins, and a button, The adorable sentiment is from W Plus 9 stamp set Sweet Nothings; luv the script on this set! I used vintage papers and sponging, a super cute card. Don't forget about the happenings over at Splitcoasstampers, it is Dare To Get Dirty week and we have 40+ challenges to inspire you! SCS Hope Challenge- October 18, 2011

I am sharing a card I made for the SCS Hope Challenge to use purple, I have used the Monday Lunchtime Sketch.  I made mine sqaure, used a sponged doily for the background, added the felt flower and the sentiment.  The sentiment is from the Verve set Just For You.  I paired the purple with my favorite color, green; I adore the way this came out.  I used the MFT rolled flower die to make the felt flower, I added a gemstone to the center.  I am also sharing the photo of us gals that met on Saturday, Wanda Cullen, Bar Anders, and Tammy Hershberger....we had a great time...thanks so much ladies...enjoy!

Mojo Monday Sketch-Circle & Square

Good morning mojo peeps, this week is circle or square week....don't ya just luv a choice...hehehe?  I have created both the circle and square for this week, I couldn't decide; I adore the look of both.....I made a cute little pair of scripture cards.  I used a wonderful Plain Jane
and the scripture set 1Peter 5:7  from Verve, you can get both of these for under $10.00.....wow.  The Plain Janes are $3.00 or less, that is a great price for a stamp.  I used the Stella Rose Designer Papers from My Mind's Eye to pair these little guys.  I used cute little crocheted flowers, SU leaf die cut out, and bakers twine to finish them.  Sorry for the short post, it is very late here...sigh...I need to get some rest.  Have a super start to your week, I can't wait to see what you create with these adorable sketches...enjoy!

Happy Saturday...I sure hope you have had a wonderful day!  I have created this cute 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 sqaure card for several challenges...I adore the Shabby Tea Room inspiration photos....yummy cupcakes!  I am still wanting to make homemade strawberry cupcakes and this photo has me more in the mood.....*grin*  I have been wanting to make one of those amazing loopy felt flowers that Tosh has been teasing us with...lol.  You can get the instruction over at SCS here.  I used the colors from The Color Throwdown color challenge, I adore these together...it is fun and cheery!  All of this inspiration has brought my little loopy flower square card together.  My dh and I have so much to be thankful for and we don't ever want to take that lightly.  I will leave you with this amazing quote of gratitude...I luv it...there is so much truth in it......enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Call Me

I am sharing a sweet little square card with you today, I adore this image.  It is by Unity and available at Stampers Dream.  It is called Call Me, it is such a bold image you really do not need a lot of fuss....I kept mine CAS(clean and simple).  I added a bit of stitching at the top, seam binding ribbon, and a flower bloomer(luv this green color) tied with a button and bakers twine.  I also adore this paper, so sweet...it is called Springtime by Echo Park Paper.  The sketch is from Sketchbook Saturday, I adore Chupa sketches.  I hope you are ready for a fabby weekend, get out and have a wonderful time with family and friends.  It is going to be gorgeous here, I do have to work Saturday; but plan on making the most of the time I have....enjoy!

Hi, I want to share a fun challenge with you today.....today's Free 4 All, is to use those forgotten stamps.  Those stamps we had to have and have not inked up, you know you got 'em, we all do......lol.  This sweet butterfly and flourish is by My Mind's Eye Laundry Line collection.   I also used the great sketch from Inspirational Sketch.  I used my new paper from Cosmo Cricket.  And I added a tag with seam binding ribbon, the butterflies have glass glitter on them, so sweet!  i hope your day is sweet....enjoy!

I have made this sweet little square card to try my hand at the Sketch Saturday Challenge.....the prize is an MFT gift certificate, definitely worth playing for.  I made another 4 1/4 sqaure card...these are are favorite of mine too.  They do take extra postage, but hey I think most of our cards take extra postage....lol.  I used the MFT rolled roses die to make the cute black flowers and then added a fuchsia gemstone to the centers.  A super simple card, but I had lots of fun created those roses.  Have a super evening...enjoy!

Waltzingmouse Sketch-Hello

I have created this for the Waltzingmouse sketch and for the colors over CR84FN....these colors are soooo sweet together.  I have used the corrugated chipboard from Maya Road and adorned each piece differently.  I am having one of those "I don't like anything I am creating moments".....it seems like the mojo has went south...lol.  This card is 4 1/4 square, I luv this cute little size.  I added some of my favorite green designer paper and stitching.  The sentiment is from the Waltzingmouse set Fancy Phrases.  I am home so I am having fun today just creating.....my week is pretty laid back with a girl shopping day scheduled, that is always fun!   I hope your day is grand....enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Becasue I Care

Hi friends, I have created a favorite square card using a tag...so sweet!  I have also used the new stamps from JustRite called Family Garden....I adore this flower sprigs..it has so many possibilities!  I added the tiny flowers that come in the set with pearls scattered throughout.  The sentiment is from the set Because I Care.  I also used the wonderful stain on my tag, it is by Tim Holtz...it is awesome!  The bottle has a dabber on the end so it is super simple to apply.....no mess and the coverage is spectacular!  I distressed the edges and then went back over with more stain so that it is darker, the beauty of this stain...with each layer it is darker or with a damp cloth it becomes lighter....luv it!  I used a white doily, ribbon, and May Arts burlap string to complete my card.  I hope that your weekend plans include a little creating fun......get out also and soak up the sun...enjoy!

Good evening, I have created a darling little square card for you today.  I wanted to play along with some of the great challenges tonight.  I statred with JutsRite stamps from Stanpers Dream.  I used two different sets for this card, Decoraitve Border and Birthday Sentiments.
I used designer papers from My Mind's Eye, the gorgeous Stella Rose collection.  I added a little cream colored paint to the borders, stitching, a Maya Road Chipboard(luv these) piece and ribbon.  I added a button with Burlap String to the top left corner.  I used the Spellbinders Blossom to cut the main image panel.  I hope you are having a great week, I am again counting the days until the weekend.  Make the most of today....enjoy!

I am sharing with you another Stamper's Dream card, if you have not had a chance to check out the Just Rite stamps that coordinate with Spellbinders Nesties, you have to check them out!  I adore these beautiful scroll and flourishe stamps...they are just awesome!  I used the Kindness Cling for this card, but there are lots of others, be sure to look at them all!  The sentiment is from another set called Sympathy Nested Sentiments. Hi, I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far.....we plan on taking a little motorcycle ride tomorrow...woohoo.  I am thrilled to have the next week off....I will be creating and I will be getting some cleaning and organizing done too.  I am sharing a square card with you tonight, I used the Verve set Bountiful Background behind the main sentiment.  The sentiment is from the Verve set Forever In Our Hearts.  I have played along with several more new challenge(new to me).  You can get an awesome list of the daily challenges here. Square CAS- hi

Hi friends, I hope you have had a great weekend, mine has been fast but good!  I wanted to play along with a couple of CAS challenges, the CAS106 from Monday is a sketch.  Today's FS211, Cookie has a CAS style; I chose her card here to case. I used Saturday's IC272 as my inspiration, the site is wall art.  My piece of designer paper is similar to the art on the walls as it makes the room and the gorgeous print makes the card.  I also played along with the Etsy Inspired Challenge, using this sweet clay pot as inspiration, the ribbed top is like my letters and similar colors.   There is no stamping on my square card, I used cardboard letters from JillyBean Soup.  I did stamped on them and also added glass glitter the the letters and the edges of my card.  A super simple CAS card for me today.  This is also fits this months Dirty Dozen theme, "Days of Our Lives" I hope you will play along with us!  If you cannot see the gallery consider joining SCS as a Fan Club Member.  I hope you have a fantastic evening, be sure to check back in the morning for my Mojo Monday Sketch card....enjoy!

JustRite Week at Stampers Dream-Day 3

Good morning, it is day three of a new JustRite Week at Stamper's Dream!  We're featuring the latest JustRite stamps, including Valentine's, beautiful new florals, and even clear stamps.  The new clear stamps even have Spellbinders coordinating nesties, you have got to check these out!  I used the cling mounted again today, I would luv to see them make more of the cling mounted!  This image is from the set Fancy Nested Frames, it is so gorgeous and detailed.  I added Prima lace trim with bakers twine, a Websters Pages button and a fabric flower embellishment.  Be sure to visit all the designers who have a fabulous JustRite creation to share!  I used the photo from Crazy 4 Challenges as my inspiration.  have a super day...enjoy!
