I have created this using the newly released Verve stamps, you can get yours here.  I adore the larger letters, they really make a statement.  I have made this one more manly, it would make a great Anniversary card or just because card.  I used the little dotted line from the set Happy Hello to make the plus sign.....teehee.  I have used Stella Rose designer paper from My Mind's Eye......MME papers are my very favorite.  Be sure to check out this fun sketch for today's Viva la Verve.  I hope you have a super duper weekend planned, we are thinking of hitting a few sales...luv doing that!  I want to leave you with this quote and a thought...we should always do the right thing even if it is a hard thing to do....my thoughts made me think of this quote.....enjoy!

Now back to my card, I have used a piece of black lace it the upper left hand corner, gemstones flourish, lace trim, and bakers twine.  I have used the Ribbon Reel inspiration photo for inspiration.  The sketch is from Monday Lunchtime Sketch challenge.  I am sorry for the photo, it is my MIL camera and I still have not figured out all the settings.  My camera has been repaired and is being shipped back to me, I hope it is back to "good as new" state.  I will be sharing the website if it is, it is a great deal especially if it is fixed.  Hope you have super day ....enjoy!

Lil' Inker Designs-Sky's The Limit

Happy Sunday, I had to play along with today's SCS Featured Stamper, it is Lydia aka understandblue.  She is a friend and the Website Manager for SCS, she wears many hats...we luv her and appreciate her very much!  I have chose her card here to CASE, from the first time I saw it I luv'd it.  I changed the image, sentiment and colors.  I have used the colors from Raise The Bar challenge and played along with some other challenges listed below. Stampin Sisters In Christ-Refuge & Strength

Happy Saturday evening to all of you, hope you are safe and sound if you are on the East Coast......the dh is chilin and I am getting in some stampin time.....yippie!  I have created this Christmas card using the JustRite set called Deck The Halls.  The yummy Christmas papers are from My Mind's Eye and Stampers Dream has them in stock, you will want to get them now...I have most of them and they are amazing...luv!  I have used a chipboard glittered snowflake from Melissa Frances and the burgundy ruffled ribbon from Websters Pages, both are items I have been holding onto.  More of a CAS card for me but I did add a few extras, you know I luv my details...hehehe.  Have a super evening....enjoy!

I have used the new papers from My Mind's Eye, a gorgeous combo of patterns....this pack is called Lost & Found Two Blush.  I have used a gorgeous lace trim that was a birthday gift from Julee...thanks so much Julee!  I added crinkled ribbon  and then added my tag using the awesome Tagged Rectangle Die from Verve.  I finished it with ribbon and bakers twine.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend planned, we hope to ride the motorcycle before hurricane Irene hits.  My dh has gotten his neck brace off and the motorcycle has been repaired, so it is riding time...hehehehe.  Hug someone today....enjoy!

Stampin Sisters In Christ-Love U

Good morning, I am sharing my card for this weeks Stampin Sisters In Christ challenge.  This weeks verse is 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. This weeks challenge is to try something that you might have not tried before now, examples... a new technique, a new color combo, a new style (CAS if you are a Layered stamper, or reversed).  I tried ghosting, I have never tried it before and did not get it to turn out the way I wanted it to.  I do not think my card stock was glossy enough.  The "love U" is stamped on the  ghosted part, it is hard to see.  be sure to head over to SCS and learn how to do it for yourself, it is very pretty and adds that little extra detail.....I luv the details!  I have used stamps from Verve's latest release,get yours today!  I played along with Stampin Royalty's sketch and Moxie Fab inspiration photo.  I was drawn to the colors, design, and the light fixture over the table, so I created  the pom pom bow with the gem.  Hope you have a happy day...enjoy!
