mojo monday/mojo410-let go and let god

I am sharing my take of the mojo monday sketch and the color throwdown colors...sweet color combo. I used the Verve sets, let it be and petals and wings. The background circle was ink washed with Tim Holtz ink and a stencil, I thne added some mebossing paste with a super tiny circle stencil...I luv how it turned out and ink splatter. I used ICE stickles on the butterfly and some gems. The kraft card stock is from Ranger, I so luv the color; it is a bit thin but I added cheap white card stock to the inside for a little more weight. I hope you are inspired to create and get inky. I created this for one of the fabulous challenges this week at SCS Dare To Get Dirty, it has been an awesome week of challenges. If you are not a fan club member, you can join here. I used the super sweet set from Paper Smooches called Best Buds. Of course I watercolored with Zig markers and then added a little stickles for some fun shimmer. I hope I have inspired you to create. I have used the super cute stamp set from Skipping Stones for my card today, Merry & Bright. A simple CAS card, I did heat emboss the snowflakes with white embossing powder and used embossing paste and a stencil for the falling snowflakes. I have created this fun card using the Paper Smooches set Crystal Clear, I adore the darlin mason jar...so very cute! I tied May Arts natural twine around the top of the mason jar in an adorable little knot...squuuueeeeall. I stamped hearts in the jar and then added stickles for a little glitter...I am lost without my beloved glitter, shine, or shimmer...teehehehehe. Some ink splatter, patterned paper tags, staple, and gemstones bring it all together. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine!

I adore this weeks Mojo Monday sketch, ok....do I say that every week?...lol. I used Verve stamp set, Inspire Hope.  This is a fun one, I sponged my cute doily with Tim Holtz inks, added a glittery tag, and a gorgeous inked up Prima flower. Welcome back to day 2 of  the Skipping Stones Design Grand Reopening/New Release Blog Hop. I have two cards to share, the first one used the super sweet Christmas tree from the new set Joy..I adore this tree, I added some star gems and sweet teal gemstones! The silver joy sentiment is glittery stickers. I have used a sketch from SCS for my card today.

My second card is using my ALL time favorite cake...really and truly...I adore this flirty polka dotted cake....it is the cuuuutest! It is from an original set called you know you're gettin old.....darlin sentiments and cute flip flops aaaaand polka dotted pillow! I colored the cake with my Zig clean color markers and then went back with a white sharpie and added a few white polka dots to the polka dots...fun!

simon says stamp summer vacation kid's challenge

 Hi all and welcome to another of our annual Simon Says Stamp Summer Vacation Kid's Challenge where we host a special challenge dedicated to our young designers.

ANYTHING GOES 

It is time for all you crafters to let your children loose in your crafty corners for a few hours. Just close your eyes and set them free to explore their creativity :-) You are allowed to hide your Copic Markers and extra special papers and you are allowed to help just a little bit if necessary, but we really want the children to 'DO IT' themselves as much as possible :-)

This challenge is open to all children aged between 2 and 16 inclusive.

We have not 1, not 2 but  3 surprise parcels of crafty goodies, hand picked by Simon!

For this challenge we have a very special Junior Design Team who I am sure you will agree have done an excellent job.

Please give them a warm welcome and leave comments for them on their blog posts. Thank You xx

I luv tall & skinny week at the mojo Monday Blog, do you? It is so fun to make these darlin sized cards, I luv being able to put them in a business sized envelop...you can dress the envie up if you find it boring...*grin*.  I have used the color combo from the color throwdown, so luv these colors.....just gorgeous! I have used the Verve flourished tag die...LUV IT....and the sweet flowers from the set Surely Goodness. I colored them with my ZIG markers...luv these, I do believe I have finally found a marker I can use...YAY! Lots of ufn with this one...I can't wait to see what you create. A fun little card using the Simon Says Stamp card kit, the stamps and the puffy stickers are from the kit...sooo cute! I have embossed the sweet little green circles and then went back and used my white sharpie(totally luv my white sharpie) to add the smaller white dots on top.
