I have used the layering prima stamp set called bayou, the flowers are really pretty! I have stamped all three pieces of one of the flowers and the darlin leaves. I have used tim holtz distress inks. I framed it with a square frame using pretty pink posh scalloped square dies...these dies are so fun! I used foam adhesive to pop the flowers up a bit, a super simple card but pretty!

happy mother's day to all the mothers out there, this is a super had day for me, harder than any day of the year...it has been a very hard week. I wanted to share this cute happy card with you today, I am trying to spread joy all around and hoping to get a little on myself in return! The sweet long legged birds are from technique tuesday, luv this cute little set called chickadee. I was inspired by the tag from tag you're it, I embossed the brick wall and sponged over it once it was dry with tim holtz pumice stone ink.

sunday stamps-throw kindness around like confetti

Welcome to the sunday stamps challenge, this week we have a fun sketch to share with you. We also want you to create a scene and I was at first skeeered at where to go with a scene. But I am very happy with my world scene, the universe in all gold, shimmering stars all around, and the awesoem sentiment that fits perfectly when we think of our world, we all could use a little more kindness! I used the altenew mini atlas and then sentiment is from the hero arts set, acts of kindness.

Have you heard of "Mr President", "The First Lady", "Freedom", and "Liberty?" I am truly amazed and watch them in my spare time. Click on link below and watch for yourself 24 hours a day, I have learned a lot! The quote below is in honor of the royal eagle family!

deepest sympathy

I am in need of replenishing my stash of sympathy cards and have been playing along with several challenges in order to motivate myself to get them completed. I have used a prima stencil and tim holtz stain for the look if the tile. I also used a gold tim holtz stain on the butterflies and then added a few black gems. I few gemstones on the tag, ribbon complete my card.

scs inspiration challenge/one layer cas

I wanted to play along with today's scs inspiration challenge, it is a hard one for me...one layer...eeeccckkk. I also used the sketch from freshly made sketches. I am in need of several sympathy cards and also need to replenish my stash. I reached for my favorite sympathy sentiment from Verve, deepest sympathy. I used the super sweet and super easy daisy stamp set from altenew for the flowers. The stamping makes it so easy to achieve the watercolor look that is so popular now. I hope you will play along with the scs one layer challenge!

with sympathy

I so luv this concord & 9th set, flourish; it has so many possibilities....cleverly designed too! I created a watercolor splash background and then stamped the array of flower elements overtop, using the gorgoeus color combo from the color q challenge. The sympathy sentiment is from clearly besotted set, sweet little sentiments. A sweet one layer card using the retro sketches sketch. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

words with meaning - "faith is tested in the face of adversity."

simon says stamp/stencil it - so very blessed

Be sure to check out the Simon Says Stamp Store!

It is time for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge and we are challenging you to stenciling. The team is using stencils from stencil girl, check them out! Don't forget every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...woohoo...definitely worth playing for! I can't wait to see what you create!

I luv using stencils, I usually always reach for embossing paste, but I decided to use gesso instead and then misted it with tim holtz stain, I really like the soft blue color. I then stamped the sentiment over top of the stenciled flower. Added a few pretty pink posh clear sequins and twine for my completed card.

words with meaning - we rise by lifting others.

mojo monday/mojo446 - deepest sympathy

I was inspired by this weeks photo from inspired by the little things, the photo inspired me to create a sympathy card, there is something about the darker rippling circle of water and the butterflies fluttering around. I have used the Verve plain jane sympathy sentiment, my favorite...I luv the size. I have watercolored the background, added glossy accents to the butterflies and a few enamel dots. Some black ink splatter in the open spaces pull it all together....sometimes I just need to fill in those open spaces....lol. Hope you have a fabulous week!
