I have completed another Winter/Christmas card, I think I could make Winter/Christmas cards all year, really. Remember, I am not a big fan of cold weather but I really enjoy creating things for Winter/Christmas. Today I used the Sweet 'N Sassy Stamp set called Snow Friends. I think he is the cutest snow man, I remember seeing him for the first time last year, it was true love, look at is cheery face, so sweet! I am super excited to tell you that all the Winter/Christmas stamps are on sale at SNSS and Korin has put lots of inks, paper, and chipboard on sale too. To see all the stamps that are on sale go here and to see the other sale stuff go here.
I used Prism papers for today's card, I really luv Prism paper, it is so rich and vibrant in color, just gorgeous. Theses colors are some of my favorites Burned, Blush Red Dark, and Island Mist Medium; the dp is My Mind's Eye/Wild Asparagus Merry Christmas Diamond/Red paper, I luv this dp too. I used my Janome to sew the bottom panel, colored the little snowman with copics, I added Martha Stewart glitter to the snowflakes, I added a SU jumbo eyelet with rich chocolate ribbon tied through the sentiment flag tag. I hope you like my Winter/Christmas card creation, this was a super fun sketch. This is also for this weeks The Pink Elephant challenge, to use your favorite color combo. I have lots of favorite colors, but the Prism Burned paper is one of my favorites, it is a color I do not want to be without. I also used a shade of green, by using the Island Mist Medium paper, that counts, doesn't it? I like almost all shades of green or colors that have the same hue. You can learn about TPE21 here.
I hope you have a blessed July 4 weekend, remember today is about our Independence, take time to reflect on that day that made history. You can go here to read some of the details about the Writing the Declaration of Independence. Have a safe and enjoyable day!
