Dashing Through The Snow
WOW, have we gotten the snow....here in my part of Virginia, we are well over 2 foot of snow.....it gives "dashing through the snow" a whole new meaning. I used Amber's sketch and flipped it, I also used today's IC211. I was inspired by snow....lol. Any card with snow in it could have been my inspiration.......if you luv snow this is the place to be. I am so luvin it, we don't have to go anywhere and I am thrilled. A pot of chicken and rice soup is planned for today and we are in. The small tree in the picture is on our front covered porch, as you can see it is covered with snow. The 6 or 7 inches we had a couple of weeks ago can be seen in this photo here. It has been snowing for 20 hours non stop. I hope you have a wonderful day...we are thrilled with the snow. I pray everyone stays safe. Details on my card are below, lots of the elements can be found at Hope Stamps Eternal, check out the links below for each item. Enjoy!

PS: I am so envious of all your snow, we have only had a dusting in this part of England!
Aren't you creative with this sketch :D Love what you've done with it! The paper pieced trees and flower soft, sparkly snowflakes, sewing, embossing, bow with twine - amazing job :D Thanks for the pics of the snow too. Reminds me of what we got last Christmas (and hope to not get again LOL!). I just LOVE the quiet the snow brings and the beauty of everything covered by it, especially trees that have their branches outlines with snow. Enjoy the beauty for me!
ReplyDeleteSTUNNING!!!

We've shoveled three times today already and I'll have to do it again before bed to let my dogs out :[ I haven't posted pics yet, but your back porch looks just like mine!!!

ReplyDeleteYour cards are gorgeous. I just love them. The white "stuff" your reports is beautiful, but it sure puts a damper on getting out to complete all of those holiday preparations! Merry CHRISTmas and best wishes in the New Year.
