Good morning, I am sharing a fun card I created for a couple of challenges. I was not going to go with a carnival theme and just use the colors; but I had this sweet SU set that I had never inked up, so the carnival theme won out...lol. I do luv this SU set, it is so nostalgic and fun; it reminds me of the "good ole days". Hello friends, I have found another sketch challenge, you know I can sniff them out...lol.  I adore this sketch and had such fun creating this card.  The sketch is from Paper Secrets, thansk gals for a fun challenge! I used my favorite color, green and I tell ya this card makes my heart skip a beat...lol.  Some of my favorite things, stitching, lace trim, seam binding, of course distressing(my favorite), a doily, and the awesome chipboard hearts.  I hope you are inspired, don';t forget to stop back by in the morning I will be sharing my take on this weeks Mojo Monday sketch...enjoy!

Hello everyone, have you heard about the Love Fest challenges over at SCS? they are challenging us to some fun challenges and there are prizes to be won...woohoo!  I am so behind, but hey I wanted to make a card or two for the fun challenges.  I am playing along with the LOVE challenge, to use the letters of love to incorporate into your card.  L= love, O= orange, V= vertical lines in the designer paper, and E= lots of pearls embellishments.  It is going to be a super busy week here on my blog...yeah!  Verve is starting sneak peeks tomorrow of our new release that will be on Friday, be sure to stop back by, you don't want to miss the latest Verve....enjoy!

You Are A Blessing

I quick card to play along with the challenge from yesterday at SCS, it was an inspiration challenge.  I was inspired by the tags/flags, I adore flags, banner,s and tags.  I luv grouping them together like I did for the top of my card.  I loosely used the sketch from 365, I turned it upside down.  I stamped the simple sentiment and then added a glittered heart with a button...tooooo cute and super simple!  Hope you are having a wonderful day....enjoy!

Life Is GOOD

Hi friends, the weekend once again is just about over, I do hope your was relaxing and lots of fun!  I have created a card to play along with several challenges.  I have been wanting to use the sweet kraft wrappers that come on the crinkled ribbon I purchase from a lovely lady on Etsy.  The background of this card is using those wrappers, I sponged around the edges to give it a more vintage feel.....luv the look!   You can get your crinkled ribbon here.  I used the sentiment stamp from the Verve set Hope Blooms.  The rest of my card is super simple, just a fun one for me.  Be sure to check back in the morning for this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.  Dream a little dream....enjoy!

Mojo Monday Sketch-Miss You Like Crazy

Good morning, it is time for this weeks Mojo Sketch, it is a circle or square week....luv both!  I have made a circle card, making it sweet and girly.  I added a flower that I misted with spritz, the crinkled ribbon, lace, and amber colored gem adds to the sweetness.  The sentiment is from the new Verve set Hope Blooms, this was my favorite set released this month!  I used Verve's A Cut Above Dies,  Jotted Heart  is the name of this one, this heart shape is so sweet.  I added a little stitching in the bottom left part of the circle and then a little distressing and sponging.  Don't forget the diva dare has started and you can link up your creation over at the Verve Blog.   There are two ways of winning, enter your creation and commenting of the divas creations, two winners will be chosen.....definitely worth playing for, don't ya think?  I hope your Monday is a good one...enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Vintage Tag

I have created a birthday vintage tag for ya today, I so luv Tim Holtz products.  I do not get to use them as much as I would like, but I have some new stuff so it is time to share!  I first took a tag and covered it with the new Tim Holtz distressing stain....luv, luv...this stuff is fabby!  It covered the tag perfectly.  I then stamped the background stamp in Tim Holtz Black Soot Distressing Ink.  The stamp is a new Tim Holtz called Papillon, the background stamp is soooo amazing.  I adore the word "Paris" peeking out from the bottom....it is my hopes to one day visit Paris.  I used designer paper by Crate Paper called Portrait collection.  The brown flower is made from ribbon, it was a small piece I had in my stash and I scrunged it all togethr and made my sweet little flower.  I added a button to the center and another burlap bow behind.  A couple of hair pins and the birthday sentiment from My Favorite Things complete my vintage tag.  I hope you are having a great week, it is hump day ya know.....enjoy!

FYI-A New Inspiration Challenge Blog

Good morning, I am soooo excited to be sharing with you today the introduction to a new challenge blog, For Your Inspiration.  I am thrilled to tell you that I am the first guest designer with the team.  Steph wants to bring a new inspiration photo to you every other week, the photos have the wow factor and are to get you to think outside the box.  My first thought when I saw the photo was "wow, what a fancy city"...I wanted my card make you think style.  I used a chipboard dress form from Maya Road, I sponged it and then covered it with Glossy Accents to give it a shine, one single pearl finishes it.  The flower is a Prima and it is sets in the center of the stamped flourish circle by JustRite, the set is called You Inspire Me.  I added the Maya Road ruffled ribbon and the tag sentiment to complete my card.  Be sure to head over to the FYI Blog and see the new team, these ladies are awesome!  I hope you will play along and give your creation the "wow" factor....enjoy!
