I can not thank the team from
Can You Case It enough for having me this month, it has been so much fun! I have used the stamp set from
Skipping Stones Design, Uplifting. I did a little watercoloring on the background and the three tiny hearts are heavy paste embossed for a little texture...luv! Washi tape, hearts, a clip, and glitter paper pull it all together.
To play along with the skipping stones design stamp & share challenge, click here. I am having a giveaway to celebrate my blog anniversary, fall, and because I luv to give to others! Please comment and tell me your favorite fall treat and how to get in touch with you. I will end the giveaway on Saturday, October 3 at 7:00PM EST. Winner will be announced on Sunday, October 4 at 7:00PM EST. My favorite treat in pumpkin roll, I usually make two at a time and freeze them. They make the perfect gift sliced on a cute tray or wrap up several slices and add to a gift bag gift.
Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine!

Now I need to find a Pumpkin Roll recipe - sounds good. I like just about anything pumpkin this time of year but I think Pumpkin Spice Latte tops the list. I make my own pumpkin spice syrup so I have one a day (starting a few weeks ago!).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Really love seeing the watercoloring and the paste hearts, of which I do neither.
Teresa, thank you so much for joining our design team for September! We loved it and your art is gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome give away! I just ordered some SSD stamps and love them! My favorite fall treats include pumpkin: my great granny's pumpkin bread is a treat I love to bake and share, Dad and I fight over pumpkin pie, and I would rather have pumpkin cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory than any cake for my November birthday. I have a friend who makes a fabulous pumpkin roll, but I've never tried to bake one.

ReplyDeleteTeresa, Love your card and the color combination. Your cards are always so fresh and exciting. Great job! Even though I love pumpkin, I'd have to say my favorite fall treat is gingersnaps. I don't eat them any other time of year, but really crave them in the fall!
ReplyDeleteI love cinnamon hot chocolate and apple cakes of various kinds. Fruit crisp is also awesome and I've got to try pumpkin choc Chip cookies. Seems every food blogger has a recipe for them lately!
ReplyDeleteTeresa, this card is so lovely! I love the shabby feel of it. I can't tell you enough, how wonderful it was to have you be the guest designer at CYCI for the month of September. Too bad I do not have one at my disposal right now, lol. Dawn
ReplyDeleteI've really enjoyed your Skipping Stones cards as I hadn't heard of that company before. Their stamps are so sweet!! Its not very exciting but as the weather gets colder we tend to make really cheesy scones for lunch during the weekends. The whole family love them, Max has them on their own, Phoebe likes Jam, Dave likes lots of butter and jam and me, I take them anyway I can get them!! Thanks for the chance to win such a generous giveaway too!!!
