Wow!! I just can't believe how generous you are!! Hope you had a fabulous birthday week and we have to get together and celebrate if you are ever in Orlando!!! LMK! Thank you for choosing me too!!
ReplyDeleteYour cobbler sounds yummy! My sister just sent me a recipe for zucchini lemon bread! She said it was really good. I need to get to the Farmer's Market soon!
ReplyDeleteMmmm.....peach cobbler sounds heavenly. I always use nutmeg and a bit of almond extract, but cardamom would be yummy, I bet! When the weather cools, I am going to try Epic Cinnamon Rolls. Here's a link:

Hope your birthday week has been grand! Here's my latest try, attempting to get to try this afternoon! http://www.food.com/recipe/healthy-pineapple-zucchini-muffins-458236
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome, Teresa! You've made your birthday month so fun for everyone! What a wonderful prize for the final giveaway! I am planning to try a recipe for herb garlic chicken that I found in one of my old cookbooks this week! Thank you so much! I hope your peach cobbler is delicious!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I haven't ventured into IG yet. As for a new recipe, I always enjoy having grilled chicken in restaurants, so I have been wanting to try to make it myself. I am much more of a baker than cook. Love my sweets.
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to oven-baked chicken breasts that are healthy, yummy, and easy to prepare. We are having them for dinner tonight.http://www.gimmesomeoven.com/baked-chicken-breast/
DeleteMy hubby and I have chosen the vegetarian way of eating at the beginning of this year. Because of that, I have gotten a new recipe book and have tried lots of different foods for the first time. Most of them are enjoyable. My very dear friend AudreyAnn on SCS has given me her favorite recipe to try, and I'm about to make it some time this week. It's called Garlic Basil Tomato Salad. If you want the recipe, let me know. Thank you once again for all the chances to win such nice prize packages, Teresa~
ReplyDeleteAwesomeness! One of my summer favorites is a tomato and corn salad. Chop up 2 tomatoes into 1" pieces, add 1 cup of corn (canned is OK), add 1/4 cup diced green onion, 2 Tbsp rice wine or Apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper to taste. Easy, light, fresh, and delish!
ReplyDeleteI found this receipe that sounds interesting http://allrecipes.com/recipe/232317/frozen-margarita-pie/?internalSource=staff%20pick&referringId=79&referringContentType=recipe%20hub&clickId=cardslot%203
ReplyDeleteJuly sure has flown by. So glad you had a fabulous birthday month. I believe in celebrating all month (heck all year) till the next one comes around. Caroline (another July birthday)

Hope it's been a wonderful BD month & wishing you a year of peace & joy, Teresa! My grandmother made peanut butter cookies & I pinned this recipe that sounds easy & yummy--just my kind--haha! Probably won't help with my weight loss goal, but one of these days I'm going to make them. Hugs, Greta

I have been wanting to try the strawberries and cream scones from taste of home.
ReplyDeleteI just saw this cute recipe the other day and it reminded me I really need to drink water (I almost never do!) and this is something I'd like to try to help me with that much needed goal.

I don't enjoy cooking much & often wish there was no need to eat so I could spend more time crafting. I do follow you on instagram. My instagram id is solea17

Thank you so much, Teresa, for the awesome prize package! I received it yesterday &
ReplyDeleteI hope to play with the stamps and inks soon!
I found a dip I want to try: Cheesy Bacon Dip
1 16 oz. container cottage cheese, 1cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/3 cup Oscar Mayer (or Hormel) Real Bacon bits, 3 green onions, sliced (both the white and green parts). My note: I don't see why reduced fat cheese/cottage cheese couldn't be used in this.
Mix all Ingredients, spread onto the bottom of 9 inch pie plate.
Bake at 350 degree F for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
Let stand 10 mins. Serve with celery sticks or crackers.
Thanks for the fun! Although I like to leave nice comments about peoples' creations,
it was nice to share other things :-)
I have my eye on a halumi spinach lasagna but the recipe is in Swedish which might be tricky for you but I also love putting my own spin on baked goods. I'm rather talented when it comes to adding calories to things 😋 I make lemon drizzle cake in a round tin to make it thinner and then spread white chocolate cheesecake frosting on top. It's to die for and everyone loves it!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday too by the way!
Just want to with you a happy birthday, Teresa! How kind and generous of you! Hope your birthday is as fabulous as you! (please leave me out of the draw).
ReplyDeleteI have joined a Cook Book club that meets at the library once a mth. Last mth theme was a Family Recipe. I made Deviled Eggs. For this mth I am going to make one of 2 recipes (chosen from 1 of 3 Quick & easy Cook Books they had to select from) for this mth get together. One recipe is Pasta with Bolognese Sauce & other is Roasted Tomatoes. Have a Bee-utiful day from Central TX!
