hello friends it is time for another as you see it challenge and this week we are challenging you to greys and it is a speed stamper week. confession, I am not good at this at all...I am such a grazer when I am creating...lol. This took me about 15 mins not including drying time of the background, of course you can use a heat gun to speed this process up. I prefer to let mine air dry so I can graze on something else...lol. I have used the sketch from the fusion challenge and a few glittery stars, the bold celebrate sentiment is from sugarpea stamps, celebrate all the things. hello and welcome to fri-YAY and the weekend...they sure don't roll around fast enough, do they? This weeks as you see it challenge is something borrowed, I borrowed the idea to use washi tape as a background page/designer paper. The flowery piece is washi tape from simple stories, I then used alcohol ink for the top and added a sweet red flower that I had in my stash box. happy friday friends, what a fun sketch we have for you to work with this week. I luv how you can make a fun little collage of elements for the main focus. I used tim holtz distress inks and created a watercolor splash background, then added embossing paste using a star stencil...luv the look! hello friends and happy friday....I luv friday's, don;t you? I had such fun with this card, adding a few layers with embossing paste, washi tape, and designer paper. I faux watercolored the flowers....stamp on watercolor paper with distress inks and then spritz with water. It really is a quick and easy way to get a watercolor affect. I added the cut out sentiment and a few enamel dots and enamel hearts. I hope you play along with us and have a wonderful weekend!

hello friends, such a fun challenge this week, I picked all of the elements to use on my card....one word, confetti(stars), wide sentiment, rainbow of aqua and lime, stars....YAY! I created the background using a star stencil and embossing paste, I then painted over it with the gorgeous aqua and lime avery elle liquid watercolors...I am luvin these...so easy and fun! I then went to my stash star container(yes, I have a container for each element...hearts, flowers, leaves, butterflies, stars and so on)and pulled out a mix to use. today we are challenging you to go back to the beginning of your crafting days and use your first stamp or tool. Mine was the distressing tool and I still luv using it today. I used to tear paper, distress it, and use stickers a lot for sentiments. So my card today is based on all three of those things. I added a bit of ink splatter and a few clear sequins. happy friday, friends, it is time for this weeks as you see it challenge and it is an amazing sketch..I luv it. I have been on the aqua/purple color combo kick for awhile..I luv this combo! I am a huge fan of the aqua, but just recently started using purple and the two together are stunning! I created a bold purple background using daniel smith watercolors and then added some paper artsy aqua paint splatter. The stitched hearts are my all time favorite lil inker...you know it is the season to use hearts. I actually reach for them all the time. They are the perfect embellishments, everybody needs a little love! The sentiment if from a casual friday stamp set. hello friends, happy friday...don't ya just luv fridays?.....they are my favorite day of the week if I am not working the weekend...ha! I am in the heart mood, I luv making cards with hearts anytime, but really enjoy pulling them at around valentine's, most of us do not need a lot of valentine's day cards so I like to incorporate the hearts with my cards and a general sentiment. I have used the gorgeous flower and leaf from the stamp market, called the watercolor bouquet stamp and cut bundle....one of my favorite flowers! I then used my favorite heart die from lil inker to cut it out to expose the sweet flower, luv the way it turned out! Of course I added it all to a piece of watercolor paper that I had swooshed some ink on, so pretty and easy. I cannot wait to see what you create with this weeks sketch! hello friends and happy friday...it is really friday for me for the first time in three weeks....whoop, whoop! I am super excited to be off until after the first of the year, it has been a long time coming! What better way to start the weekend than with a fun little sketch, this is a keeper for sure...I luv this sketch! I am using gold, silver, and black for christmas packages this year and our tree so this card was super fun to make. hello and welcome to fri -YAY and the weekend...hope you have something fun planned with the fam, the hubs and I will get into something for sure! I simply luv this time of year, it makes me feel so alive....I am not a fan of halloween/scary so I have created an alternative to this week as you see it challenge...to make it a fallish card. What a fun challenge, gorgeous fall rustic colors and wit a bit of a time challenge. I was able to complete this card in about 20 minutes...which is pretty good for me. I so enjoy the process of sifting through my things to create a card. I have sued the gorgeous leaves from The Stamp Market, you can see them here. I adore this weeks sketch, so fun...I reached for the stamp market stamps, have I told you how much I adore these stamps and the company? Their new release from this past tuesday can be seen here. The gorgeous flower I used for this card is from the set called watercolor bouquet bundle. I have watercolored the main base of the tag and then stamped the flower with tim holtz inks and spritzed it before I stamped it...luv the look! A little tim holtz distressed paint for the center and sweet berries on the leaves...luv this flower set! I cannot wait to see what you create with this weeks amazing sketch!

I simply luv how my card turned out, I have used the wplus 9 set called southern summer floral #2, a super sweet reach for every time stamp set. I have used various tim holtz distress inks from the purple/rose colored family. The sentiment is a chipboard piece from tim hotlz. I have accented with b & w designer paper and black twine. I am sharing with you my take on this weeks as you see it color challenge...I must admit I was a bit stumped at first...none of these colors rank high on my list...lol. I n=knew I wanted to use the stamp market stamps to create red flowers and from there it took off, kinda like the outcome! I used tim holtz distressed inks on the flowers and spritzed with a bit of water before stamping onto watercolor paper. These flowers are from the set fun florals.
