ETA:  Here are the Verve Blog Hop winners, go to this post to see....the winner from my blog is Shelly German...thanks so much for all who hopped along with us.  I so appreciate your kind comments!

Hello, I have been absent for a couple of days, trying to get back into the groove of working.  I used the Lunchtime Monday Sketch, TSSC133, and the Color Q Colors, CQC44.  I used the flower stamp from the Ippity set Now & Always.  I embossed the flower petal and then added SU chunky glitter, I haven't brought out my chunky glitter in awhile.  I am a gal who likes the bling and shimmer...lol.  I so luv this sketch, it has lots of possiblities, I used the notebook punch down the side, su designer paper, su bashful blue ribbon, and buttons.  I have gotten another big order for cards, so I will be busy feeling that order and gearing up for the next Verve release.  This is a release that you do not want to miss.  I hope that you have a wonderful weekend planned, it is right around the corner.  Check out my Etsy shop Paperie Blooms, I hope you can find something you just can't live without.  Have a fun day...enjoy!

A Warm Hello

Good morning and Happy July 4, I hope you have lots of fun planned for this great American holiday!  But now, it is time for a cupcake...hehehe...CIC66.  I think these cupcakes are so stylish, head over to the CIC Blog and see the other sweeties creation and to play along.  I started by using the sketch from CAS-tastic, CWC010 this is my first time playing along with these gals, fun sketch!  I was drawn to the pink, red, and of curse green.  I used the stamp set from Ippity called Now & Forever, I luv these stamped on dp(designer paper) and cut out.  I used some random designer paper for the card and added PTI ribbon.  A button bow to finish off the center and my card is complete.  This also fits The Play Date Cafe Challenge, PDCC36.  Now I have to tell you that is was not that easy, for some reason I could not pull this simple card together last night.  I do hope you like my cupcake creation and most of all I hope you play along with us.  I do my best to get around and show some luv.  Have a wonderful day....enjoy!

Wishing You

Good morning, I have a gorgeous cupcake to share and get your mojo flowing....this cupcake is covered with teals and browns.  What a fabulous color combo, I really like SU Taken with Teal and it's not in the new cattie...I will have to see if Mikey's has a color in Bazzil to compare.  On with today's card,  This is this weeks Cupcake Inspiration, CIC64....I used a really deep chocolate Bazzil paper and the teal houndstooth SU Sweet Pea designer paper.  The sentiment is Verve Wishing You (Verve is having a release this Friday, JUNE 25..I will be peaking sets later in the week) and the big ole flower is from the Ippity set Now and Always.  I layered the flower and added a little stickles and a dark brown button.  Speaking of buttons, I had bought a bag of buttons at Hobby Lobby(in PA, we don't have one near me) a year ago; anyway I thought the buttons where a mix of soft green, blue, and plums.  I discovered last night that they are a deep chocolate(I had been looking for deep chocolate) I felt like I had hit the jackpot...lol.  I was under my trusty Ott light and seen that they are truly chocolate.....what a wonderful surprise!  Back to the card, I added a piece of ric rac, it is paper but it sorta looks like ribbon.  The die is from PTI, I also added a row of stitching.  I hope you have a wonderful day and I surely hope you will play along with us, you can see the all the other sweeties creations at the Cupcake Inspiration Blog.  I used the Clean & Simple sketch, FTL95...luv the sketches over there, check them out!  Enjoy!

Sweetly Thinking Of You

Good morning, these are the cutest displayed cupcakes, I was drawn to the fun, big flower.  This is for today's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC52 There is so much about these cupcakes to get your inspiration flowing, I hope you play along with us!  My card recipe is using the darling paper from Basicgrey and it is called Green At Heart.  It is so pretty, the colors are luscious.  I used two different punches, I really like the look of the layered borders.  The purple layer is using a EK Success border punch and the orange layer is using the Fiskars border punch.  I used the ProvoCraft Argyle embossing folder on the top portion of my card.  I finished my card with ribbon tied with a button and the cute butterflies.  I added Stickles to the butterflies for a little glimmer.  I used the sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches #59 and the glitter challenge at Stampin Royalty, SR12.  I hope you will play along with us this week, it is always fun to be inspired by yummy cupcakes.  Enjoy!
Be sure to check out the other sweeties ceations to get you inspired!

Life Is A Song

Happy Saturday to you, I have a one layer card I made for the challenge at There She Goes, TSG47.  They are having a new release this weekend and have offered up a few challenges.  It is also today's IC225, I chose the candle here as my inspiration, I was drawn to the adorable pink flower.  I used the sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges, C4C30.  I also used the cute cookie inspiration photo from CCEE1012.  I was drawn to the yummy icing/cream that is ooozing out the sides, hence the reason for the distressing texture on the sides of my card.  I hope you have a fun filled weekend planned, be sure to hug someone today and tell them you love them!  Enjoy.
