it is time for another crazy 6 you challenge and it is a sketch this week! You gotta luv those tilted panels, I know I do and layers too! O created a fun birthday card using some gold accents mixed with black and kraft. I also added a few star embellishments, super fun card to create! crazy 4 challenges - go where your heart takes you

happy weekend friends....I am working, but I hope you are off to enjoy the weather and create a bit! This weeks challenge over at crazy 4 challenges is to make a shaped card, no plain circle, no plain rectangles, or no plain squares. I have used a scalloped rectangle die to create this shape. I have stenciled the adorable x's using a tim holtz stencil and then added the sweet watercolored balloon and a heart. crazy 4 challenges guest - happy birthday

hi friends, I was asked by the sweet rebecca to be a guest for crazy 4 challenges this month and I could not be happier. This weeks challenge is to be inspired by windows, I have used vellum representing the window and of course flowers...because we all luv seeing ours flowers when we looked out the window. I have used several different flowers from different companies, they were all in my stash. I can't wait to see what you create...have fun!

It is time for a sunday stamps sketch challenge....hope you play along with us! This weeks sketch was created by the amazing amy, check out her blog! It felt so good to create! I have sued the sweet flowers from simon says stamp set choose joy. The heart is and older, but favorite chipboard piece by heidi swapp. Some ink splatter and some rose gold sequins bring this al together. Of course I used daniel smith watercolors for the background...I luv her watercolors! I can't wait to see what you create with this weeks challenge.

my father passed away unexpectedly and in an instant after a day of fishing on may 7...his favorite past time especially since losing my mom five years ago. it was a shock to us, but he really did get a first class ticket; he died doing what he loved and never knew he left the world! to be parentless is the greatest feeling of emptiness I have ever felt in my life....it is the kind of heartache you can feel in your bones. I will miss them greatly, but I have made it a priority to keep them alive in truth and honor! I anxiously await what the Lord has for me and my hubs, this is a BIG transition and I feel changes coming! always make the most of everyday, life has no guarantees!

as you see it - celebrate

hello friends it is time for another as you see it challenge and this week we are challenging you to greys and it is a speed stamper week. confession, I am not good at this at all...I am such a grazer when I am creating...lol. This took me about 15 mins not including drying time of the background, of course you can use a heat gun to speed this process up. I prefer to let mine air dry so I can graze on something else...lol. I have used the sketch from the fusion challenge and a few glittery stars, the bold celebrate sentiment is from sugarpea stamps, celebrate all the things. viva la verve may

hi friends, it is the first friday of a new month and that means we have a viva la verve sketch to share with you. I have went with a bold watercolor background using some of the gorgeous daniel smith watercolors...these paints are amazing! I have used the verve stamp set called kindness matters and the rectangle die from the a cut above falling leaves die set. The leaves are from the a cut above great kindess die set. I hope you make time to play along with this months sketch!

hello and happy day, it is time for the inspired by challenge for the week and it is fun! We are using products from SRM stickers and they have so graciously provided us with stickers to use. All of the elements of my card except for the balloons are stickers, so fun; huh? I was inspired by the adorable colors and the balloons and party feel. I watercolored the balloons and then added a little stickles, everything else is stickers...I luv how it turned out. Be sure to stop by SRM and see what you can pick up for yourself *grin*. ok, I have a confession, totally got my three in a row messed up...sorry. I should have used watercoloring and I used the flower, but didn't watercolor it. I have used my favorite stamp company, the stamp market...luv these stamps! I used birthday wishes and botanicals stamp & cut bundle, such a gorgeous stamp!
